Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2's theme will focus on ancient Greek mythology, and there's a chance that Hercules could join the roster of skins in the game. So far, there have been 28 seasons of Fortnite. On March 8, the 29th season will start once Chapter 5 Season 2 launches. Each season has had its own theme, and this tends to influence the new Battle Pass and Item Shop cosmetics, the changes made to the Battle Royale island map, and the collaborations and events.
Chapter 5 Season 1's theme was Underground, and it was all about using the sewer navigation system under the island in order to plan how to take down the Society and rescue Peely. While other Fortnite maps already featured manholes as decoration, they were significantly more important this season. Gamers had been waiting for Fortnite to join forces with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for a while, and it came as no surprise when it finally happened. Epic Games placed the Turtles' lair in the Underground HQ, where Vengeance Jonesy operated his mission.
Fortnite Leaks Point to Another Major Anime Crossover
A new leak suggests that Fortnite's upcoming Season 2 is set to have another big crossover with a very popular anime franchise.
Fortnite will leave behind the heist theme for a while; Chapter 5 Season 2 is going to be all about Greek gods, heroes, and myths. Since this is a completely new theme, there are tons of ideas for Epic Games to explore. In the past few weeks, dozens of Chapter 5 Season 2 leaks surfaced in the Fortnite community, including information about what fans would most like to see. According to iFireMonkey, playtesters got to vote on which franchises should be featured in Fortnite, and one of the names that came up was Hercules.

The leaks mention Kevin Sorbo's Hercules featured in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. However, it would make sense for Disney's Hercules to also make an appearance in-game. Disney invested $1.5 billion in Epic Games, and according to its official statement, it plans to collaborate with the gaming company in order to create games as well as a universe connected to Fortnite. This major partnership aims to bring familiar Disney content to Fortnite, allowing fans to play and engage with it in completely different ways.
Fortnite has teamed up with Disney before; Chapter 2 Season 4, also known as the Nexus War, featured a Battle Pass with multiple Marvel skins, and it ended with the Galactus live event, so it wouldn't be impossible for the two companies to bring another Disney character to the roster of Fortnite skins, especially considering how Hercules would fit right in with next season's theme.
