More loot is always a good thing in Fortnite, and thanks to the new event with Star Wars, Imperial Chests have returned, with even more potential for prizes inside. Whilst players may have to battle it out against Stormtroopers and other players, the new chests in Fortnite could be worth claiming for the XP and what lurks inside for those who desire new weaponry.

Fortnite: Imperial Roadblock Locations

The Stormtroopers of Star Wars have taken residence in Fortnite, and here are the exact locations and details of each of them within Battle Royale.

There are a few spots where players can get Imperial Chests, but truly only one way, as these chests have a 100% spawn rate in specific locations, so anyone expecting to find them just anywhere is going to be out of luck, but they aren't going to need to commune with the Force in order to find them.

Where To Find Imperial Chests

Imperial Chests are located at Imperial Roadblocks, which are found across the Fortnite island in set spawns for Chapter 5 Season 2's Fortnite x Star Wars event. There are 6 roadblocks at the start of this event, and here's a map that will help players locate an Imperial Roadblock of their choosing:

Each of these Imperial Roadblocks will have 1 to 2 chests with a 100% spawn rate. The only thing that changes with each round is what is inside the Imperial Chest, but the loot table remains rather consistent, here's a look at what can drop from an Imperial Chest:

  • E-11 Blaster Rifle
  • Wookiee Bowcaster
  • Chug Splashes
  • Shockwave Grenades

How To Get Imperial Chests

Considering that many players might be searching for Imperial Chests, players are going to need to be fast and smart to beat out the crowd. The best way to get Imperial Chests is to land at any of the Imperial roadblock sites first, which is manageable through dropping straight from the Battle Bus, and preferably the safer route, which involves landing at a site far away from the Battle Bus' drop line to avoid confrontation with players. However, even if players are nearby, the fact that Imperial Roadblocks have relatively little loot, it's a safe bet that whoever claims the chest first wins, as there are also hostile Stormtroopers to worry about.
