Fortnite Battle Royale is celebrating its 6th birthday with a fun event featuring themed quests and free cosmetic rewards. The v26.10 hotfix was released on September 19, 2023, and it added tons of birthday-related content to get everyone to celebrate the release of the Battle Royale game mode back in 2017.
Players can participate in the Fortnite Birthday Event by completing quests on the Battle Royale island, and if they decide to do so, they'll be rewarded with three free cosmetic items. This guide will show players everything they need to know about the Fortnite Birthday Event.
Fortnite Birthday Rewards
Gamers have the opportunity to unlock three free birthday-related items. The rewards are granted to those who complete the Birthday Quest Bonus Goals, meaning gamers who complete a certain number of Birthday Quests. Here are the requirements for each reward:
- Complete one Birthday Quest - Birthday Basher harvesting tool
- Complete three Birthday Quests - Birthday Dash spray
- Complete five Birthday Quests - Slice O' Six back bling
These items are exclusive to those who participate in the sixth Birthday Event, so they won't be available in the Item Shop at a later time.
The Fortnite Birthday Event will be live until September 26, 2023, at 12 AM ET, so players must complete five Birthday Quests before then if they'd like to unlock all 6th Birthday Rewards.
Birthday Quests
There are six Birthday Quests this year, and even though fans only need to complete five of them to unlock the cosmetic rewards, they should attempt to complete all of them to collect as much XP as possible because, on top of the Bonus Goals rewards, they will also receive 20,000 XP for each Birthday Quest that they complete.
