How to Get the Grapple Glove
The Grapple Glove is an extremely difficult item to find in Fortnite Season OG, as it can only be obtained through a random rift encounter.
In previous seasons, there were several NPCs on the Fortnite map. Whether they were friendly or hostile, there were some characters that would appear in the same place every match. However, there were also random encounters. These encounters were impossible to predict, as a random character would simply appear somewhere on the map - this is the case with the Grapple Glove encounter.
There were supposed to be no NPCs on the OG map, as this wasn't part of Fortnite back in Chapter 1. However, following a recent update, a random rift encounter can occur on the Season OG map, and it will spawn in the Anarchy Agent character as well as a toolbox that contains a Grapple Glove. Players can only obtain the Grapple Glove if they come across the rift encounter or loot it from a player who has luckily found it.
