For Christmas day, the Fortnite battle island was, as predicted, completely covered in snow. Ironically enough, this follows suit with the plot of Disney's Frozen, which stands out because of Christmas day's addition to the Item Shop: a skin named Glimmer that looks a lot like Elsa from Frozen.

For those who want this skin, Glimmer is legendary and comes with a rare pickaxe and glider. To pick up the entire set would cost Fortnite players around $35, with Glimmer herself costing the bulk at $20. And it seems like many Frozen fans will want to pick up this Elsa lookalike. After all, beyond the snow and ice similarities, Glimmer also has blonde hair, similar facial features, and a light blue theme - all much like Elsa.

When comparing the two figures, they look more alike than they look different, but it isn't likely to get Epic Games in hot water. After all, the company has a good working relationship with Disney, hopefully meaning that Fortnite's as evidenced by the Infinity Gauntlet LTM. Not to mention, Epic has enough legal battles going on at the moment.

Several pop culture figures have thrown their hats in to sue Epic Games. This includes 2 Milly, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air's Alfonso Ribeiro, and Russell "Backpack Kid" Horning. All of this even prompted a lawyer - via his YouTube channel, LegalEagle - to create a video discussing what would happen when/if these charges are taken to court against Fortnite.

Of course, while these dance moves are controversial enough and many believe that Epic Games would win in court, going against Disney could very well be a different story. So, it's likely Fortnite took necessary precautions with this Glimmer skin. Ultimately, it'll be interesting to see how this turns out for the aforementioned emote lawsuits, but it's not likely that Glimmer becomes a point of contention, especially since Frozen itself is based on The Snow Queen fairy tale by Hans Christian Anderson.

Fortnite is available now in early access for Android, iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.
