Fortnite's getting into the summer mood with some challenges this week that involve going to the beach and destroying some sandcastles. There's also another challenge that requires players to actually build 3 special sandcastles, but this guide will focus on the destruction quest. Completing challenges and quests are great for players that are looking for some extra XP to unlock new items via the Fortnite Battle Pass. By destroying 3 sandcastles, players will be able to get a whopping 24K XP.

What's good about this quest is that it can literally be completed in the first few minutes of a Fortnite match. All of the sandcastles are found in one specific location, and players can simply land there via the Battle Bus without much hassle. However, if players are attempting to land there immediately, they should change tactics and find some weapons first, as many players will also be trying to complete this Season 6 Week 10 challenge.

Where to Destroy Special Sandcastles in Fortnite Season 6 Week 10

Once players drop in the Battle Royale match, they should plan to head to the beach that's directly southwest of Misty Meadows, which is in the bottom half of the new Fortnite map. It shouldn't be too hard to spot, as the beach is fairly small in length and is obviously covered in sand. Once players land in the area, they should spot a couch and a clothing line underneath a small beach canopy that protects people from the sun. The sandcastles will be scattered near the canopy, but they should all be very close to one another. Players can see the location in the image below if they need extra guidance.

Luckily, players won't need any items to physically destroy the sandcastles. Players simply need to walk up to one of the sandcastles and interact with it for a second, and then it'll be destroyed. Do this to three of the special sandcastles and the challenge should be marked as completed and the XP will be obtained.

And that's all there is to it. Once players complete this quest, then they can work their way through the other ones and collect even more experience points. There's also a new limited-time mode available to Fortnite players called Impossible Escape that throws players onto the map with limited weapons and they need to escape by finding Choppa parts.

Fortnite is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
