Fortnite and Rocket League are once again teaming up to bring both of their fans great in-game deals. In the past, Fortnite and Rocket League had come together before and created in-game quests that allowed players to play one of the games and unlock free cosmetics related to the other game.
Now, the developers are taking an extra step a bit and taking their collaboration to the next level. Gamers subscribed to the Fortnite Crew Pack will receive the Rocket Pass for free. This guide will explain everything players need to know about this ordeal and how they can get it for themselves.
What Is The Rocket Pass?
For Fortnite players that aren't familiar with it, the Rocket Pass works just like the notorious Battle Pass, except it's available in Rocket League.
Once the Rocket Pass is obtained, gamers can get tons of Rocket League rewards according to how much they're able to level up during a season. The more the player increases their tier level on the Rocket Pass, the more limited-time items they'll be able to claim. There are two versions of it: the Rocket Pass Premium and the Rocket Pass Bundle - the only difference is that players get a head start if they get the bundle.
How To Get The Rocket Pass For Free?
Fortnite Crew subscribers will receive the Rocket Pass Premium for free as a membership perk. There is only one thing players need to do in order to claim it, and that's linking the Epic Games account that they use to play Fortnite to their Rocket League account - they can do it on the official Rocket League website. If the player is using two separate Epic Games accounts for each game or hasn't linked their Epic Games account to Rocket League yet, they won't get access to the Rocket Pass.
Epic Games did not disclose for how long this member benefit will be available, but they mentioned that while it's included with the Fortnite Crew Pack, subscribers will always own the current season's Rocket Pass. Even if the player's Crew Pack subscription comes to an end, they will continue to own the Rocket Pass until the season comes to an end.
Just like those that subscribe to Fortnite Crew but already own the current season's battle pass, Rocket League players that already own the Rocket Pass and have the right to this perk will get a refund for a total of 1,000 Credits.
