What Time Will Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Be Released?
While the exact time for the release of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 is not yet known, it can be somewhat estimated. The current battle pass is slated to expire on Friday, 8th March 2024 at 2 am Eastern Time. For different regions, the times are as follows:
- United Kingdom - 7 am GMT
- Europe - 8 am CET
- United States - 1 am CT
Ideally, the game should go into maintenance right after that, so players will not be able to access it for a few hours. It hasn't been announced yet how long this maintenance will last, but going from previous seasons, fans can expect it to last at least two hours. While that's the fastest servers have gone up, usually it takes anywhere between four to five hours for the servers to be back and running. With that in mind, fans can expect the game to go live again, likely with the new season content, at around 6 am ET, 11 AM GMT, and 12 pm CET.
However, for players wanting to jump into the game right when the new season drops, it is worth noting that it generally takes even longer for the game to go live, given all the updates being made to the game.Considering that this update is for a new season altogether, the maintenance time is usually a bit higher than the standard wait for standard updates.
