Fortnite's Battle Royale game mode has been around for nearly five years now. Even though some players have been consistently active throughout this entire time, there have been some gamers that have come and gone, but it might just be time for them to try the game once again.

The Reboot Rally program rewards active players and returning or new players for playing Fortnite together - it gives them both the chance to earn limited-time items. This guide will explain how Reboot Rally works and show gamers the cosmetic items that they can earn for participating.

How to Participate in the Reboot Rally Event

With Chapter 4 Season 3 coming to an end soon, Epic Games wants to incentivize some gamers to return or try out the latest Fortnite chapter, and this is why the Chapter 4 Season 3 Reboot Rally event will be live until August 26, 2023, at 9 AM ET.

Reboot Rally offers gamers several quests that they can complete, but progress will only count towards these quests if an active player and a returning or new player are teaming up while doing them.

Gamers are considered active players if they've played over two hours of Fortnite in July. Those that have less than two hours of gameplay during this time are considering returning players if they've tried the game before or new players if this is their first time playing Fortnite.

Returning players have a Reboot symbol next to their name on the Friends tab.
