Known Fortnite data miner Lucas7Yoshi has taken to Twitter to leak that Fortnite Chapter 2’s first season will implement Overtime challenges. This news comes nearly one month after Epic Games announced that the first season would be extended to February 2020.

In his post on Twitter, Lucas7Yoshi shared a photo of the leaked Fortnite challenges while stating “this is apparently the 'overtime' challenges.” In the screenshot, he also revealed that the challenges have been titled “Remedy vs. Toxin”; however, this does not mean that the official title of the challenges will be the same.

The Overtime Challenges listed in the photo are:

  • Stage 1 of 2: Reach Battle Pass Tier 40
  • Stage 2 of 2: Complete ‘Remedy vs. Toxin’ Mission Objectives
  • Visit different food trucks
  • Earn Silver Survivor Medals
  • SMG Eliminations
  • Search chests at Landmarks
  • Reach 11 of both Health and Shield in different matches
  • Deal damage with a Common, Uncommon, and Rare weapon in a single match
  • Deal Damage to enemy Structures
  • Visit different bus stops in a single match
  • Achieve Weapon Specialist Accolades by dealing damage with weapons

Since Epic Games decided to extend the first season of Fortnite Chapter 2, fans that have already started to complete the Battle Pass’ challenges of the current season. These Overtime Challenges will give players that have completed the original challenges an incentive to continue playing the game until the release of Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Season 2, while giving others new objectives to earn XP before the season is over. This leak comes as no surprise, as Overtime Challenges have been a staple of previous Fortnite seasons.

Although this leak has yet to be confirmed by Epic Games, Lucas7Yoshi has been known as a reliable source for Fortnite leaks. In the past, Lucas7Yoshi leaked that John Wick would make an appearance within the game. After data mining the game, much like the Overtime Challenges leak, Lucas7Yoshi shared images of the character skin on Twitter. Early in 2019, he was also responsible for the Snowfall Skin leak that was also eventually added into the game.

Recently there has been an increase in leaks regarding Fortnite. Just over the last month, Data miners HYPEX and xKleinMikex found that the holiday update for the game may include a snow edition of the current map. Also, Fortnite leakers have discovered that Kylo Ren, the antagonist of the StarWars sequels, will be added into the game. The recent update of the game added in other characters from the StarWars franchise; however, up until this leak Kylo Ren’s appearance in the game had not been mentioned.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 1 is playable from now until February 2022 on the Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, Xbox One, and mobile devices.
