Fortnite is well into its season-long crossover with Marvel and the popular battle royal keeps dropping new characters. Earlier this week, Fortnite began teasing the addition of Black Widow for this season's crossover and now it appears that the new skin has been leaked online by notable Fortnite leakers.

A few days ago, Fortnite teased Black Widow for the Marvel Knockout Super Series tournament, which in the past has allowed players to unlock Daredevil early before he hit the item shop. Today, Twitter user ShiinaBR posted a quick video showing off the new Black Widow skin and other cosmetics included in the set. Black Widow's outfit matches the white suit, being called the Snow Suit in-game, that fans have seen in the trailers for the hero's upcoming movie.

Along with the new look for Black Widow in Fortnite, players can get their hands on a new back bling that resembles Black Widow's logo and looks like a hologram, a new harvesting tool that is a set of electronic batons called the Widow's Fangs, and a cool glider that matches Black Widow's outfit. Black Widow's appearance and cosmetics were clearly inspired by the white outfit in the hero's leading movie and, unfortunately for any fans of the classic Black Widow outfits, the leaker didn't show off any different styles for Natasha nor is there a symbol on the character's icon to signify other styles may exist.

This new Black Widow addition marks the second time the character has made it into Fortnite. Originally, Epic Games' added a Black Widow skin to Fortnite to coincide with the release of Avengers: Endgame, however, this skin was called the "Black Widow Outfit" which meant that the character wasn't actually Natasha Romanoff, and was more likely another character dressed up as her. The first Black Widow set resembled the more traditional look for the character with a full black suit and included two styles for players to change the character's hair color from red to blonde.

Black Widow's addition to Fortnite is a spot of good news for the character after a disastrous 2020 has seen the character's movie thrown around constantly. Recently, due to concerns and complications caused by COVID-19, Disney has had to delay the Black Widow movie multiple times and ultimately to May 2021 for now.

While Fortnite seems to be killing it with its Marvel crossover, the other Marvel game that released this year is having a bit of a financial issue. Marvel's Avengers appears to have tanked financially following the game's release and contributed to a huge loss for Square Enix, who revealed in a quarterly report to have lost 6.5 billion Yen.

Fortnite is out for PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, with a PS5 version also in development.
