Fortnite is one of the most popular games in the world. It’s free to play, available on every gaming device known to mankind, and has one of the most competitive environments both casually and in eSports. Since its launch in 2017, there have been few other games that have been able to penetrate the global consciousness like Fortnite.

With all that said, it’s no surprise that a good amount of Twitch streamers have made their careers on Fortnite. Twitch and Fortnite have gone hand in hand together since the beginning. Even with many streamers moving to new platforms like YouTube, Twitch remains the name brand in streaming for some of the biggest names out there. Here are the best Fortnite streamers on Twitch.

Ninja

Ninja suggests new streamers are better off starting on smaller titles to build a brand.

Tyler Blevins, better known as Ninja, first came onto the scene playing Halo 3 competitively. He was one of the first streamers to focus exclusively on Fortnite and has seen his popularity grow exponentially since he launched his channel. Ninja’s biggest claim to fame came in 2018 when he played Fortnite squads with Drake, Travis Scott, and JuJu Smith-Schuster, setting a peak viewership record for Twitch at the time.

Ninja made waves by briefly leaving Twitch for Microsoft’s Mixer service in late 2019 but quickly made his way back to Twitch when Mixer shut down in 2020. With the return to the platform where he gained his fame, Ninja’s account became the most followed on Twitch, and it’s not particularly close. Ninja’s rise in popularity is so closely tied to the rise of Fortnite that it’s easy to wonder if Fortnite would be as big as it is now if not for Ninja. As Fortnite grows, so does Ninja. It’s a mutually beneficial relationship.

SypherPK

Similar to Ninja, SypherPK got his start with other games but didn’t make real headway until streaming Fortnite. Born as Ali Hassan, SypherPK gained a small following playing Overwatch and For Honor before transitioning his brand. He’s made his name on Fortnite tips and tricks, helping amateurs become experts. His “How to Win” series is one of the most viewed on Twitch. While he doesn’t have quite as big of a name as Ninja, SypherPK has remained one of the top Twitch streamers due to his superior skill and talent on Fortnite, routinely having extremely high kill rounds.

Bugha

If you haven’t heard his name, you’ve certainly heard his story. Bugha won the Fortnite World Cup in 2019 at just 16 years old. After winning the $3 million prize, he shifted his focus to streaming and growing his viewership on Twitch. Understandably, Bugha draws in a large crowd on his streams, as gamers love to gain pro-level advice from someone who has achieved Fortnite success at the highest level. He provides the kind of commentary that can only come from a player who knows the game as well as he does.

NickEh30

Nicholas Amyoony decided to take a slightly different approach with his Twitch brand. On top of being one of the top Fortnite players in the world, NickEh30 provides streams with an educational focus that are designed to be more family-friendly. In an environment like Twitch that can lend itself to being toxic, it’s nice for parents and guardians of younger viewers to have a channel they trust for their kids. As Twitch considers creating a kid-friendly mode, NickEh30 has demonstrated that there's a demand for his type of content. Plenty of streamers have younger audiences, but NickEh30 always makes sure his streams are fun for all ages, and fills a niche role that no one else does on Twitch.

Fortnite is available on Mobile, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
