Devil May Cry and Avatar Would Be Perfect Fits For a Fortnite Crossover

Crossover content is constantly being added to Fortnite, with the game famously adding skins from Family Guy and Metal Gear Solid for Chapter 5: Season 1 of the title. There is a huge range of famous faces in Fortnite, with crossovers also adding things like unique pickaxes, gliders, emotes, and more to the title.

Rumors often spread around what crossovers will come next for Fortnite, with the sheer volume of these collaborations often making it hard to determine which rumors hold weight. Despite this, recent theories regarding Avatar and Devil May Cry crossovers have spread like wildfire throughout Fortnite's community, potentially holding a lot of validity.

The Devil May Cry portion of these rumors seems to show the most promise, with the hosts of the XboxEra podcast claiming that supposedly reliable sources suggest that Dante from Devil May Cry will be coming to Fortnite in the near future. While it is unclear if any other characters from DMC will appear in this potential crossover, it is easy to see one of Dante's iconic swords being used as his pickaxe, with his Cavaliere motorcycle perhaps being his glider.

Avatar Has the Perfect Content For a Fortnite Crossover

Rumors of an Avatar crossover are seen as less likely but come from the same source, with the fairly recent release of the record-breaking Avatar: The Way of Water making this crossover slightly more realistic. The most likely figure from the Avatar franchise to come to Fortnite would be Jake Sully in his Na'vi form, although fans have already commented on how the huge heights of the Na'vi species would be difficult to translate to a Fortnite character model.

Aside from this, the Skimwing flying creature could easily appear as an Avatar-themed glider for this crossover, with a variety of handcrafted Na'vi weapons potentially being introduced as pickaxes. It is unclear whether other Avatar characters such as Jake's wife Neytiri will also appear, but it is quite likely that more than one playable character will be introduced. While these rumored Devil May Cry and Avatar crossovers are unverified at this point, the amount of attention that is being placed on them and Fortnite's past crossovers means that anything could happen soon.
