Alan Wake: Flashback was crafted using the Unreal Editor for Fortnite and is a collaborative creation of Epic Games, Remedy Entertainment, Spiral House, and Zen Creative. It promises an eerie narrative that fans of the original game will likely appreciate, featuring a mysterious journey alongside Alan Wake as he searches for his missing wife, who vanished under mysterious circumstances in the Pacific Northwest town of Bright Falls.

Starting from October 26, players will be able to access the Waking Nightmare set in the Fortnite Item Shop, alongside the already available features of Fortnitemares 2023.
This exclusive set includes the Alan Wake Outfit and other in-game cosmetics from Alan Wake's unsettling universe. Furthermore, players who have already purchased any of the Alan Wake 2 editions on the Epic Game Store before October 27, 2024, at 11:59 PM ET will be rewarded with early access to the Alan Wake Outfit and Alan's Messenger Bag Back Bling in Fortnite, beginning on October 10.
