According to Forspoken, Labyrinths are made by the first Tanta herself, and only Tantas can enter such dangerous places. Early-game Labyrinths are pretty straightforward with no extra rooms available, only the enemies' rooms and the boss's room. However, Praenost has some labyrinths that possess alternative rooms filled with valuable items.
Since Praenost is very large and filled with many points of interest in Forspoken, it’s easy to get lost in it. As for the Labyrinths, there are a total of three locked Labyrinths found in different areas in Sila’s Praenost.
Praenost Locked Labyrinths In Forspoken
The three Praenost Labyrinths in Forspoken are; Locked Labyrinth: Barrier in The Guardian’s Way, Locked Labyrinth: Cliff in The Citadel, and Locked Labyrinth: Mountain in Pioneers’ Plain.
Locked Labyrinth: Barrier In The Guardian’s Way

The first and second rooms can be easily cleared by using some AoE Magic Spells since there will be a decent number of enemies.
Tips to defeat Lesser Gigas:
- Use Firewood to make a Campfire in Forspoken and restore HP if needed.
- DO NOT use Sila’s Magic as it is completely useless and will only aggravate the boss.
- Since it’s most likely that players won’t have Olas’s magic when completing this Labyrinth, use Frey’s Magic as an alternative.
- Avoid the boss’s leaping attacks using parkour and keep attacking until the Lesser Gigas’s HP is depleted.
Locked Labyrinth: Cliff In The Citadel

Boss Room | The Lesser Apsaravis is a bird-like monster that’ll keep flying over players’ heads, forcing them to use long-ranged Spells. |

Like many Labyrinths, players need to clear the rooms of the monsters before moving forward.
In this case, there aren’t many monsters, and they’re relatively easy to handle as long as players keep their distance. That’s because these Abyssal Troodon and Varanus can inflict Frey with poison which will add a debuff.
Tips to defeat Lesser Apsaravis:
- Firewoods are always available to help Frey rest right before the boss’s room.
- Don’t bother with Sila’s Magic in Forspoken as the boss requires long-ranged Spells, so stick with Frey’s Magic.
- Use parkour to climb one of the buildings in the middle to gain extra height.
- Be ready to cast the Leach Spell if the boss poison Frey.
Locked Labyrinth: Mountain In Pioneers’ Plain

First Room | This room is filled with Abyssal Troodon and Abyssal Syntheras, which is one of the worst combinations. Do not get surrounded by them as the former will spew poison that continuously drains Frey’s HP while the latter will run around and attack. |
Second Room | Inside the second room is a bunch of Abyssal Thylacoleo and Abyssal Argentavis. The latter is an annoying bird that is better to be taken care of quickly before focusing on the Abyssal Thylacoleo. |

Extra Room | The door on the left in the second room opens another extra room that has some items and an Old Coins chest. |
Boss Room | The Lesser Amphicynodon is quite fast and deals a lot of AoE damage. |

The first and second rooms are as always filled with enemies that Frey needs to defeat to carry on.
Do note that inside the second room, the door in the middle leads to the boss while the rest are extra rooms.
Tips to defeat the Lesser Amphicynodon:
- Make sure to make a campfire outside the boss’s room if players used too much Healing Draught while healing poison.
- The Lesser Amphicynodon is weak to Sila’s Magic. Defeating it with Frey’s Magic is not impossible, but time-consuming.
- Spells like Crucible are amazing against this boss and the Surge Spell in Forspoken is even better.
- Avoid his tail attack and his jumping attack using parkour.
