Kaley Cuoco's Cassie Bowden is back for more adventures in the teaser trailer for the second season of The Flight Attendant. The trailer confirms that the HBO Max series is all set to premiere on April 21 on the streaming service, and from the looks of it, Cuoco's Bowden will be taking on a lot more than she can handle.

The minute-and-a-half teaser trailer was released by HBO Max on their social media channels, and Cuoco herself introduces her extremely popular character’s return to the small screen. The first season saw her trying to prove her innocence after she wakes up to find someone brutally murdered in her bed. The season ended with her being recruited by the CIA, and that’s where the The Flight Attendant season 2 seems to pick up.

The Flight Attendant season 2 trailer begins with Bowden attending an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting and talking about how she is turning her life around. Season 1 showed Bowden getting into a lot of trouble, most of it while she was consuming alcohol. But, she now claims to be “making better choices.” The official synopsis of the series reveals that Cuoco's Bowden will be seen “living her best sober life in Los Angeles while moonlighting as a CIA asset in her spare time.”

Bowden goes on to become involved in an overseas assignment, and this is where she witnesses a murder. Getting roped into another murder investigation, Bowden revisits the Mind Palace from season 1 of The Flight Attendant, where she meets a version of herself that isn’t as sober as she would like to be. This is the same place where she used to communicate with Michiel Huisman's Alex in the previous season, and where was able to piece her memories back together and prove her innocence. Would it help her again?

Apart from Cuoco, some other cast members from The Flight Attendant's first season are also returning to reprise their roles. The list includes Zosia Mamet as Ani Mouradian, T.R. Knight as the protagonist’s brother Davey Bowden, and Rosie Perez as Megan Briscoe. Michelle Gomez was brought on to play the role of Miranda Croft, who is potentially the person walking away from a blast in the trailer. It was also confirmed that Sharon Stone would portray the role of Lisa Bowden, Cassie and Davey’s estranged mother.

The Flight Attendant returns to HBO Max on April 21, 2022.
