Ever since the announcement of the final chapter of Fire Force’s hit manga series, there has been little to no news concerning the anime's third season. Finally, after a long wait, fans can now expect a new season and a mobile game as well.The news about Fire Force’s third season was revealed alongside the announcement of the official sale of the manga’s final volume, which launched on May 16. The next season followed swiftly in 2020. However, no preceding season surfaced in 2021 or early 2022. However, this saddening development will soon change due to the announcement & confirmation of the show's third season. Fire Force's fame in the anime franchise was aided by the manga's success. Overall, the manga series has thirty volumes, with the final volume published this month.

The series is centered on a world of fire and special individuals – Pyrokinetics, capable of manipulating flames in different ways. The story's setting is based in Tokyo, a country reeling from the effects of the Great Cataclysm that devastated the world 250 years ago from the story’s present timeline. This unprecedented disaster set off a chain of events such as sudden fires & the existence of infernals. To handle these problems, the government of Tokyo created the Fire Force. Together with Special Fire Force Company 8, the main protagonist, Shinra Kusakabe, tackles fire-related issues that threaten Tokyo & the world.

Despite the announcement of Fire Force's third season on the show's official Twitter page, a release date for the anime has yet to be revealed. Apart from the third season announcement, Fire Force's official Twitter Account also announced that a new mobile game is in development.

Titled, “Fire Force: Enbu no Sho”, the game is expected to be released soon. Musical group Mrs. Green Apple will work on the game's theme song; “En En”. Mrs. Green Apple is well-known for the opening theme song "Inferno," featured in Fire Force's first season. So, fans can expect a well-developed game with superb musical themes to match.
