Fire Force has been under the radar of anime fans for years. As a result, it's not quite as popular as it should be, considering how awesome this anime is. The anime follows the life of Shinra Kusakabe, a very powerful pyrokinetic, who is determined to be a hero whom people look to for help.

His friends are always there to fight alongside him as they fight against the greatest evil their world has ever known. The arcs so far in the series have been nothing short of interesting. Despite how amazing they are, they don't all offer the same entertainment value.

10 The Battle Between Company Five & Eight

Captain Obi had a hunch that somebody within the Fire Force companies was already aware of the cause of spontaneous human combustion, but was keeping the info to themselves. Company 8 was formed to carry out autonomous investigations of the other Fire Force companies, and Captain Obi decided to start with Company Five as they had the most advanced research team of all the Fire Force Companies.

Company 8 stormed Company 5 in order to take their research documents by force. Shinra ended up facing off against Hibana, the Captain of Company 5, and though it was more challenging than he thought, Shinra managed to defeat her and even convince her to give up on chasing power. In the end, Companies 5 and 8 became very close allies.

9 The Infiltration Of Company One Revealed A Traitor

Princess Hibana gave Captain Obi intel that someone was turning humans infernal artificially. Most of the artificially created infernals seemed to appear in Company One's jurisdiction. Captain Obi sent Shinra and Arthur to Company One undercover.

Shinra then discovered that Rekka was the person who was turning humans into infernals using some kind of bug. An exhilarating fight ensued between Shinra and Rekka, during which Rekka discovered that Shinra uses an Adolla Brust. Unfortunately, Rekka was assassinated by the White Clads at the climax of the fight.

8 Vulcan's Workshop Arc Revealed More Enemies In Disguise

Company Eight was lacking in tech, so they needed an engineer in other to get them up to speed with other companies. They planned to recruit Vulcan, the greatest engineer in the Tokyo Empire. This gave rise to an entire arc because apparently not only the Eight needed Vulcan.

Captain Giovanni of Company Three, came under the pretext of recruiting Vulcan for Company Three but in actuality, he came to retrieve the key to Amaterasu even if it meant killing Vulcan in the process. A fight ensued with Shinra and Arthur fighting against Giovanni and his men who turned out to be members of the White Clads. However, what made this arc most memorable was Shinra's encounter with his younger brother after 12 years.

7 Benimaru & The Joker's Joint Investigation Exposed The Holy Sol Temple

After a successful expedition to the Chinese Peninsular the team returned and reported their findings. The secrets they uncovered were of such magnitude that the government suppressed them. The Joker decided that he would investigate the Holy Sol temple to find out more.

For such a dangerous mission, he needed a strong backup, so he requested help from Benimaru, the strongest Fire Force soldier. Together, they took the Temple by storm, but they still didn't find anything. Captain Burns of Company One was the one with any worthwhile information, and he was happy to share.

6 The Haijima Arc Introduced Yet Another Pillar

Haijima is the most powerful industry in the Tokyo Empire, and as expected from such an organization, they were involved in some really shady deeds. They came under fire for their cruel experimentation with children in order to discover an Adolla Burst in any of them.

Nataku, one of the children, suddenly manifested an Adolla Burst and found himself at the center of a three-way fight between Company Eight, Haijima, and the White Clad. At the climax of the battle, all three sides had to unite to take down Nataku, whose power had gone out of control.

5 The Fifth Pillar Arc Brought The Fire Force Together

The first pillar had just revealed that the fifth pillar was about to be born. The White Clad and Company Eight battled each other to secure the fifth pillar. The White Clad began the battle by creating numerous infernals.

Shinra was ordered to secure the fifth pillar, who happened to be a psychopath, while the rest of the force put up a joint operation to put out the infernals ravaging the city. Shinra was ultimately defeated by Charon, a member of the White Clad, and Inca voluntarily went away with the enemy.

4 The Asakusa Arc Was Very Entertaining

The Asakusa Arc is a notable arc in the series, as it showed fans the incredible strength of Company Seven and its Captain. The Arc began when Company Eight kicked off its investigation of the White Clads as they were the culprits of mass spontaneous combustion. Their investigation led them to Company Seven's jurisdiction and their Captain, Benimaru, wasn't too fond of their presence on his turf.

The White Clad stepped in and threw chaos into the mix by making lookalikes of the citizens of Asakusa. This caused a lot of confusion in the town, and they sought to wipe out Company Eight amidst the chaos. The fights were brutal, to say the least, but the combined forces of the Eight and the Seventh companies proved too formidable for the White Clad, and they were ultimately defeated.

3 The First Encounter In The Nether Was Gruesome

Company 8 stormed the Nether after discovering that the White Clad was hiding there. The White Clad was expecting an attack, so both sides were ready for a full-on battle. The fight showed just how much company 8's rookies, Shinra and Arthur had developed following their training in Asakusa. Shinra's battle with his brother Sho took the limelight as the most anticipated fight in this arc. Viewers got to see just how powerful Sho was, as well as a glimpse of the Evangelist.

Through his adolla link with Sho, Shinra was able to steal some of the Evangelist's grace from Sho, making him powerful enough to keep up with Sho. This was a superluminal battle between the two brothers. Sadly, Haumea, a White Clad with an Adolla Burst, used her power to force Sho to stab Shinra through the chest. In the end, both the Eight and the White Clad had to flee the Nether because of an earthquake caused by the Evangelist.

2 The Chinese Peninsular Arc Revealed Secrets Of The Evangelist

Companies Two, Four, and Eight organized an expedition to the Chinese peninsula in order to uncover more information about the Evangelist, Adolla Bursts, and the Great Cataclysm. There they found a tabernacle sitting in the middle of the oasis.

Although they resembled one another, this tabernacle obviously predates the Amaterasu at Tokyo. The team encountered some infernals who were unlike any they'd met before. They could talk. They even had a master who planned to harness the destructive power of the tabernacle and blow the entire region sky-high. Shinra was able to stop him and learn more about the Evangelist.

1 The Second Encounter In The Nether Was More Gruesome Than The Last

The Second and Eight Fire Force Companies went down into the Nether to investigate the White Clad's activities. Unbeknownst to them, they had walked right into a trap. Ritsu of the White Clad, who has the ability to control corpses, used the bodies of the fallen Fire Force soldiers to attack the Companies.

Many lives were lost in this battle, with Company Two suffering the most devastating losses. The entire Tokyo Empire was at risk of extermination, but thanks to coordinated teamwork, the Fire Force was able to foil the enemy's plans.
