Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes features a number of optional paralogues: special missions that delve deeper into the stories of the various characters. Each can only be accessed when the correct characters are in the roster and a certain chapter has been reached, and this guide will explain how to find all of them.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is a hack and slash action RPG developed by Koei Tecmo and Omega Force and published by Nintendo. Set in the same world as Fire Emblem: Three Houses, the game follows a different timeline created by the survival of a mercenary fated to die. As said mercenary, players join one of the three houses and quickly become embroiled in the various overlapping schemes and conflicts of Fodlan.
All Routes
These Paralogues can be accessed in any route as long as the correct characters are recruited.
Cycles of Nostalgia - Arval
Arval's Paralogue is a special case as it requires players to fulfill several requirements in a playthrough and then enter new game plus, so players wishing to avoid any spoilers should avoid reading this section.
Unlocking Cycles of Nostalgia requires players to recruit Byleth and complete the game, then unlock Arval with renown in NG+ and avoid recruiting Byleth on that route. With these criteria met, Arval's paralogue will become available, allowing players a glimpse into Fodlan's distant past and the origins of Arval.
Eagles, Lions, and Deer - Gatekeeper
The Gatekeeper's paralogue is rather easy to access, becoming available automatically once the Gatekeeper becomes playable. It is a flashback exploring the events of the mock battle between the Three Houses.
This took place between Shez joining their chosen house and the mission in which they rescued Monica. The story initially skips over it without mention, making this a very interesting paralogue.
Unsettling Truths - Raphael, Ignatz, & Lorenz
Unsettling Truths is a very satisfying paralogue for players who completed Lorenz and Raphael's paralogue in Three Houses. In order to access this paralogue, players must recruit Raphael, Ignatz, and Lorenz.
Players on the Golden Wildfire route will have to wait a few chapters before the paralogue appears. It explores the events surrounding the deaths of Raphael's parents and Claude's grandfather, and the possible role Count Gloucester played in those events.
The Ashen Wolves' Reunion - Yuri, Balthus, Constance, & Hapi
The Ashen Wolves' Reunion is a four-person Paralogue in which the former Ashen Wolves revisit their past and assist a few friends from Abyss. It is unlocked by recruiting all four members of the Ashen Wolves, which will take until part 2 of the story to accomplish regardless of route.
Scarlet Blaze
These Paralogues can only be accessed on the Scarlet Blaze route.
A Grand Day for the Opera Company - Manuela & Dorothea
This paralogue, unlocked by simply progressing the story and keeping Manuela and Dorothea alive, features the pair escorting the Opera company between towns and through a pack of bandits.
The paralogue features a unique gimmick where defeating bandits who are fans of Dorothea or Manuela with the correct unit will recruit them as allies for the rest of the map.
An Incurable Shut-in - Monica & Bernadetta
This paralogue is unlocked by keeping Bernadetta and Monica alive and progressing the story. It features Monica, Bernadetta, and Duke Gerth seeking out Those Who Slither in the Dark in a network of caves.
A Noble Among Nobles - Ferdinand, Lorenz, & Constance
This paralogue requires players to recruit Lorenz and Constance before it is made available. It features a training exercise turned competition to determine which of the three is the noblest of nobles.
Enshrouded Memories - Lysithia, Edelgard, & Hapi
This paralogue requires players to recruit Lysithia and Hapi, then progress the story, in order for it to become available. It features the three investigating a hideout connected to a prominent member of Those Who Slither in The Dark.
Like Cats and Dogs - Caspar & Linhardt
This paralogue requires players to keep Caspar and Linhardt alive and progress the story in order to unlock it. This paralogue features Caspar and Linhardt hunting down rebel sympathizers who have holed up in a nearby town.
They are assisted by their fathers and Shez. This quickly becomes an opportunity for their fathers to personally test the pair in battle.
The Seiros Snare - Hubert, Jeritza, & Petra
This paralogue requires players to keep Hubert, Jeritza, and Petra alive and progress the story in order to unlock it. This paralogue features Hubert, Jeritza, and Petra thwarting an attempt on Count Varley's life at Garreg Mach Monastery.
Azure Gleam
These Paralogues can only be accessed on the Azure Gleam route.
A Night of Wonder - Mercedes, Annette, & Constance
This paralogue requires players to keep Mercedes and Annette alive and recruit Constance to unlock it. It features the three former students from the School of Sorcery testing out a new spell and saving people from bandits.
Evil's Bane and Love's Protection - Alois, Jeralt, Shamir, Catherine, & Gustave
This tricky paralogue requires players to recruit Shamir, Jeralt, and Byleth before it will unlock. It features former and current knights of Seiros joining forces to face off with Those Who Slither in the Dark and requires players to spread out their units over the map to keep foes from escaping via multiple exit points.
Love and Hate in Wartime - Catherine, Ashe, & Yuri
This Paralogue requires players to recruit Yuri and keep Ashe and Catherine alive, progressing the story until the paralogue unlocks. It features Ashe and Catherine finally talking about what happened to Lord Lonato's son and also delves into some of Yuri's past.
Raiders from the North - Dimitri, Sylvain, & Rodrigue
This Paralogue requires players to keep Sylvain and Rodrigue alive until the paralogue opens during part 2 of the route. It explores Sylvain and his father's differing opinions on Sreng, and his father's relationship with Rodrigue.
The Saints' Forge - Rhea, Seteth, Flayn, & Cyril
This Paralogue requires players to keep Seteth and Flayn alive and progress the story until it becomes available. It features Rhea, Seteth, Flayn, and Cyril seeking out a sacred weapon at a long-forgotten forge.
Wildflowers for the Future - Dedue, Ingrid, & Felix
This paralogue requires players to keep Dedue, Ingrid, and Felix alive and progress the story until the paralogue becomes available. It features Dedue, Ingrid, & Felix dealing with some Duscur renegades who may be linked to the Tragedy of Duscur, and delves deeper into their backstories.
Golden Wildfire
These Paralogues can only be accessed on the Golden Wildfire route.
Right Where They're Wanted - Holst, Balthus, & Hilda
This Paralogue requires players to recruit Balthus and keep both Holst and Hilda alive. After progressing the story enough, this paralogue will become available, featuring Holst and Hilda coming to Balthus's rescue when he is attacked and engaging in a massive brawl.
Under the Protection of the Golden Deer - Lysithia
This paralogue requires players to keep Lysithia alive and progress the story until it appears and features her teaming up with Shez and Count Gloucester to take out bandits in Ordelia territory, while also touching on Count Gloucester's connection to Lysithia's father.
What Lies Within - Hilda & Marianne
This paralogue will become available as long as Hilda and Marianne are kept alive, and features Marianne setting out to rescue Hilda after a scouting mission goes wrong.
Coming Clean - Claude
This Paralogue becomes available after the first chapter of part 2, and features Claude, Judith, and Nader fending off pirates. The paralogue also delves a little deeper into Claude's backstory.
Scarlet Blaze & Golden Wildfire
These Paralogues can be accessed on the Scarlet Blaze and Golden Wildfire routes.
A Reason to Fight - Jeralt, Byleth, & Leonie
This paralogue becomes available if Jeralt, Byleth, and Leonie are recruited. It features the three joining up with Shez and Alois near Leonie's home to deal with a group of poachers and kidnappers. It also talks a little more about Jeralt and Leonie's history, and her opinion of Byleth.
Mercenary Complications - Leonie & Shamir
This mission requires players to recruit both Leonie and Shamir. It features Shamir dealing with an aggressive ex-client's henchmen who seek to kidnap her, with Leonie providing assistance and reminding Shamir of an old friend.
