Fire Emblem Engage Voice Actors Confirm the Roles They Played in the Game

Most of the main English voice cast of Fire Emblem Engage took to social media over the last few days to confirm their roles in the latest installment of the long-running strategy RPG franchise. Their announcements were timed just ahead of Nintendo's January 20 release of Fire Emblem Engage.The new Fire Emblem game is the first big Switch exclusive of 2023. It's also the second entry in the iconic series for the Switch, after Fire Emblem: Three Houses, which made its way to Nintendo's hybrid console back in 2019.RELATED: Fire Emblem Engage Character Designer Shares Impressive Hero ArtworkNearly a dozen actors and actresses from the main English voice cast of Fire Emblem Engage have now confirmed their roles in the recently released tactical RPG, along with calling for fans to consider getting their hands on the new game. While such coordinated communications are fairly common in both gaming and the general entertainment industry, what's noteworthy is how heartfelt some of these newly posted messages read. For example, Laura Stahl said that she is "forever grateful" for the opportunity to play the female version of the game's protagonist Alear. "Fire Emblem: Engage changed my life," she wrote in a January 20 tweet.

Similarly, Brandon McInnis—the actor who played the male version of Alear—labeled his role as "an honor beyond words." This sort of statements wouldn't be out of the ordinary for artists commenting on their breakthrough roles, but both Stahl and McInnis are fairly accomplished names in their field, having previously voiced characters in a number of successful TV series, movies, and games such as Genshin Impact, Soul Hackers 2, and Borderlands 3.

Stahl, McInnis, and several other Fire Emblem Engage voice actors and actresses have also reprised their roles in Fire Emblem Heroes. Another reason for the fans to once again boot up the hit mobile game is that Fire Emblem Heroes players get a bonus for Engage.

Not only does Fire Emblem Engage feature a massive hero roster thanks to its Emblem Ring summon system, but the game also ships with more than 1,300 fully voiced support conversations. As such, fans of the series' trademark unit bonding mechanics should find plenty of content to enjoy here.
