Anyone who has been playing Fire Emblem Engage may have noticed that DLC characters can link to Emblem rings from the same original games, making their own moves more powerful. In the first round of DLC, the unit bearing Byleth's ring could Emblem Link with anyone wearing the Three Houses Edelgard Emblem bracelet.

The same went for units with Marth and Tiki. Now that there are two more DLC waves and five new DLC bracelets to pair up with, players might be wondering just what the boosted abilities of each of the same-game links look like.

The first wave of DLC dropped on release day for Fire Emblem Engage. This DLC included both Tiki from Fire Emblem and the three house leaders from Three Houses.

  • Tiki and Marth - Divine Blessing Plus: In addition to giving one unit a Revival Stone, the plus version of this spell can also heal a non-synced unit or give a synced unit +3 to their engage meter.
  • Edelgard and Byleth - Houses Unite Plus: The unit holding Edelgard will still attack with the Three Houses relic weapons Aymr, Areadbhar, and then Failnaught at 50% damage. Then, after combat, the unit holding the Three Houses bracelet gets to take another action.

The new wave of DLC for Fire Emblem Engage dropped February 8, 2023 and brought with it three new DLC Emblem bracelets. Each of the bracelets featured heroes from older Fire Emblem games, and each of these characters are able to link up with others from the same titles.

  • Hector and Lyn - Storm's Eye Plus: When Hector is standing near Lyn, his Storm's Eye become Storm's Eye Plus. This upgraded version gives the player's attack "unit attacks first, follows up, foe can't follow up" with sword or axe only. Thankfully, Hector already has those types as his Engage weapons.
  • Camilla and Corrin- Dark Inferno Plus: Dark Inferno Plus increases the number of spaces around Camilla that light on fire and also increases the number of healing tiles as well.
  • Soren and Ike - Cataclysm Plus: Instead of the cross-shape of the original, this power now hits a 3x3 square. This square must be centered on an enemy.
