Fire Emblem Engage has tons of interconnected systems that can effect the player's experience and the options available in gameplay. One such system is the Donation system, allowing players to pour money into a region to receive a number of benefits and items in exchange.

While they start out at fairly low amounts, Fire Emblem Engage's donation requirements rapidly increase as a region's Donation level increases. This means players will end up needing to acquire huge amounts of Gold in order to reach the highest Donation level for each region. Here's a breakdown of the rewards by region. Since the cost of increasing the Donation level is the same for each region, it is only listed in the Firene section.

Is it Worth it?

Alear in Fire Emblem Engage-2

Donating to the Regions can be very beneficial to players in the long run, providing players with some very valuable one-time rewards along with permanent benefits that can help with leveling up units and funding better weapons and gear. It is a heavy initial investment however, and many of the constant benefits rely on players engaging with the Skirmish mechanic more readily, so its usefulness is heavily dependent on the difficulty setting chosen and the player's playstyle.
