The casts of both Fire Emblem Engage and Fire Emblem Heroes lead fans in a hilariously cheesy crossover workout video. With April Fools' Day having passed, video game studios have produced a variety of jokes and social media posts for fans to enjoy. These range from Overwatch 2 holding an event with heroes having googly eyes, to the Sonic the Hedgehog team shadowdropping the The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog visual novel for free on Steam. Some are a little bit late to the party, such as Intelligent Systems and its mobile game Fire Emblem Heroes.Fire Emblem Heroes is no stranger to April Fools' Day jokes, even if they come out a few days later. 2020 saw an entire FEH Channel presentation done in an 8-bit retro art style, while 2021 had two characters that were introduced in Book 5, Reginn and Fafnir, dancing in a music video. In 2022, three characters integral to Book 6 — Veronica, Ash, and the Player/Summoner — all played instruments as if they were in a band. This year's joke video features the casts of Heroes and Fire Emblem Engage participating in a very cheesy workout video.RELATED: Fire Emblem Engage Releasing New Character MerchandiseThis video was posted to both Twitter and YouTube, with the workout itself being led by Askr, the patron god of the Kingdom of Askr. Two characters from Fire Emblem Engage, Alfred and Timerra, help lead the workout with Askr. The Summoner and Seidr are also present, where they act as cheerleaders to encourage those watching.

Askr then greets the viewer, welcoming them to Askr's fitness center, with an exercise regimen that focuses on the viewer's upper and lower body. This includes a range of movements that stretch the viewer's arms, even incorporating bull-like movements, due to Askr's bovine design. All of these accompany a fitness based remix of the series' theme, with Askr encouraging the viewer to move to the beat. This Fire Emblem Heroes fitness video ends with the Summoner lifting an enormous rock, while Seidr sits on top to cheer the viewer. Hilariously, a note at the end of the video asks the viewers to not try the Summoner's feat at home.

Some fans noticed that Intelligent Systems went through the trouble of making a 3D model that would show the hunky deity in workout gear as opposed to his royal wardrobe, while Alfred, Timerra, Seidr, and the Summoner were all wearing their normal outfits. The voice actor for Ash, a character in Fire Emblem Heroes who is considered Askr's daughter, posted their own surprise to the video, simply stating, "DAD?" Suffice to say, this Fire Emblem April Fools' Day joke is rather hilarious, even if a little late.

Fire Emblem Heroes is available to play on mobile devices.
