Fire Emblem Engage's Chapter 22 is filled with a lot of story action. A ton has happened, and Veyle and Alear are finally together again. The two siblings have decided to take on the Fell Dragon together in order to save not just the world they live in but also the other worlds that he hopes to conquer. This whole chapter is a long battle of gathering the Emblem Rings back once the Fell Dragon dropped them around the room. Alear will have to reignite them if the group has any hopes of taking on the Corrupted and returning Elyos back to the way it was.

Players return to battle without going back to Somniel or the world map. This also means that there are no Paralogues for this chapter. The team will be thrown right into the Chapter's story battle from the beginning after some fairly long cutscenes.

Alear and company will not have any Emblem Rings except for Corrupted Marth at the beginning of this battle. To complete this chapter, players will need to interact with each of the three ring locations marked on the map with Alear, then have a unit pick up each ring by interacting with them. After each ring has been picked up, players need to kill every Corrupted left on the field. In the beginning, there are:

  • Two Wyrms, one in the east middle and one in the bottom left. One of these has a very good speed weapon on it.
  • One Corrupted has an S-level 1-2 range spear that it drops.
  • There are a handful of other units, but nothing special about them.

At the beginning of the battle, the magic unit Veyle will join with her signature knife and her Tome Obscurite. She has no Emblem, but she does still have Fell Protection, which helps to protect all friendly units that are nearby her.

She is a Fell Child unit, and she is not incredibly powerful. However, she will be helpful in helping to collect all the rings scattered around the map.

During the end of turn 4, a couple of new Fire Emblem Engage enemies will spawn from the north. After engaging the final enemies on the board, even more units will spawn. The best way to get through this battle is to make sure not to rush the center; take the whole group to engage each ground of enemies individually, not engaging the second group until the first has been eliminated.

Fire Emblem Engage is available now for Nintendo Switch.
