As Fire Emblem Engage continues, players will get to take on their Queen mother in battle. While she is a friendly unit, she will be helping to train Alear to ensure that they haven't forgotten all their combat training while sleeping for the last 1,000 years.

Players will have to battle the Queen twice in this early part of Fire Emblem Engage's 40 hours, and each of these fights will help to teach players how to make the most of Marth and the other Emblems they will gain over the course of the game. Players looking to complete these battles the first time around with success may need a little help.

The First Fight with the Queen Lumera

Fire-Emblem-Engage-Chapter-2-A

The first fight with Queen Lumera is a very easy fight. Not only will she not bring out her Emblem character, but she also won't do much damage either. The big thing players need to learn from this battle is to raise their Emblem energy by standing in the spots with the glowing energy at the end of their turns.

Since Alear is the only person with an Emblem at this point, she will need to stand in the glowing spots to bring out the Emblem character Marth faster.

Players just need to surround her and take her out quickly. Then they can move onto the real battle where Lumera will bring out her Emblem: the Fire Emblem hero known as Sigurd.

The Second Fight with Queen Lumera

The difficulty in Fire Emblem Engage will ramp up with this fight quite a bit. While it is still a fairly easy fight, players will need to use a little more tactical thinking when taking the Queen on the second time. She will bring out Sigurd to help her and expand her movement and power. As a spear holder, she will be super effective against mounted units like Vander. The Queen will ignore all other targets for him, so positioning is necessary to take her out quickly.

Using the Fire Emblem Engage hero Vander as bait, position both Clanne and Alear nearby, and they will be able to take out the Queen in just one turn. Unless the Queen crits, Vander should be able to survive her hits, then Alear and Clanne can double up on her to finish her off. If the Queen does manage to kill Vander, don't worry too much about it; players can just reset the game and do the fight again.

Fire Emblem Engage is available now for Nintendo Switch.
