In the home base of Somniel, Alear will find that a new difficulty level of strength training mini-games will now be available. Players should avail themselves of this little gym-like game in order to increase stats for their main character. They can also bring Sommie along with them, the cute little friendly spirit that hangs out around the island. Players should also be at the point where they can level their Fire Emblem Engage character's classes up with Master Seals.

Players will also want to note that there are more outfits in the Boutique, including a beautiful new Solm-style outfit called "Noon." Also, Alear can finally donate to the Fire Emblem Engage nation of Solm, meaning players will finally be able to adopt desert animals like flamingos and camels.

Paralogue for Chapter 13 of Fire Emblem Engage

Fire-Emblem-Engage-Chapter-13-Walkthrough-01

The Lady of the Plains Paralogue, much like the one from Chapter 12, is all about maxing the bond limit with and Emblem. This time it's Lyn, one of the main characters of Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade.

  • Boss Lyn doesn't really move, but she has a sword that is effective against Armored and Cavalry units. She also has a killer bow with a range of 10, so keep flyers away. Players will want to avoid attacking her with units with 19 or less speed, and she can also spawn doubles that allow her to chain attack, and these doubles chain attack even when out of range. She will activate at the beginning of turn 7.
  • Each tent has enemies inside of them, so players will need to destroy the unit in front each tent to keep them from spawning a ton of new units when first being activated on turn 7.
  • Players will start split up, four units in each of three corners.
  • There are loads of archers and mages, so players will want to plan accordingly and keep the Fire Emblem Engage weapon triangle in mind; also many archers have long bows, so they have a ton of range. All the casters have random staff units like Fracture.

Story Mission for Chapter 13 of Fire Emblem Engage

This battle takes place between the Princess of Solm, Timerra, and some bandits and Corrupted. Players will join her and her friends to destroy all the enemies. Timerra also has an Emblem, which Alear awakens before the battle begins.

  • Timerra is a sentinel with a lance. She can use the Emblem Ike, who is very tanky. She can smash breakable objects with Ike with one hit, and Ike's Engage allows her to take 50% less damage but lose the ability to dodge.
  • Penette is a berserker, which is a pre-promoted unit in Fire Emblem Engage.
  • Last is Merrin, a female wolf knight that gives female units extra defense when two or more are nearby.

The enemies are varied, the incoming army composed of both Corrupted and bandits. The two named enemies are powerful, and one has a Brave weapon, which can attack twice. This map has a lot of darkness and a lot of breakable objects, so players will want some torches or Illumes with them.

At the beginning of the fight, Timerra, Panette, and Merrin will automove to the first house to defend it. Pick up the treasure in it with one of them.

  • 1 - The house defended by the three new women has a Seraph Robe, which is a permanent upgrade to one unit's HP by 5.
  • 2 - The southeast house gets smashed on turn 1 or 2 by the enemies, so getting this item is impossible to get. It's not worth trying; players will most likely lose whatever unit they send down there, and the house only has an Elixir in it.
  • 3The house on the bottom left has a Rescue Staff.

Between turn 1 and 2, the flying units over the water will put most torches out, leaving players in the dark about where units are. Playing careful defense here is essential to surviving this battle in Fire Emblem Engage.

Fire Emblem Engage is available now for Nintendo Switch.
