As players make their way through Final Fantasy 16, they'll come across a variety of materials that Clive can use to upgrade items and create new weapons. There are many different swords that players can create via the Blacksmith and a variety of accessories with varying strengths and weaknesses that can be reinforced to become even stronger. As players make their way through the later parts of Clive's journey, they will have an opportunity to craft and reinforce Diamond gear, but they'll need to get their hands on a particular monster material before they can do so. White Wyrm Bone is a later-game material that only drops from the White Dragon Main Story Quest Boss. The White Dragon is found in the 38th Main Story Quest, Fire in the Sky. The mini-storyline itself is pretty lengthy, with multiple boss battles, but players will tangle with the imposing creature fairly early on during the quest. Unfortunately, this means players will have to wait quite a long time to get their hands on the White Wyrm Bone, and will have to collect multiple Eikons before being able to obtain the material and craft better gear. Players should receive three White Wyrm Bone from defeating the White Dragon.

Players need to get their hands on the White Wyrm Bone if they wish to create and reinforce the Diamond Sword and the Diamond Armlets. Although it's possible to craft both the Diamond Sword and Diamond Armlets using a White Wyrm Bone, it's a better plan for players to simply use the monster parts as a reinforcement material. This is because players are actually able to purchase both the Diamond Sword and Diamond Armlets from various vendors.

  • The Diamond Sword can be found at Goetz's Toll and costs 3000 gil to purchase.
  • The Diamond Armlets are unlocked at Charon's Toll in the Hideaway, only after players visit Tabor for the first time (36th Main Story Quest). They cost 2700 gil.

Once players purchase both items, they can return to the Blacksmith at the Hideaway and use the White Wyrm Bones to reinforce the items. Here's a look at the costs associated with crafting the items (for players that don't wish to purchase them) as well as their overall reinforcement costs.
