While many were expecting Vincent to be a part of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, fans were quite disappointed to see him missing in the game. For players who are looking for Vincent Valentine, in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, there is some good news and bad news. The good news is that he will join the player's party eventually in the game, but the bad news is that he is not a playable character.

When Does Vincent Join The Party In FF7 Rebirth?

Players will only be able to unlock Vincent in Chapter 11- The Long Shadow of Shinra. To unlock him, you'll need to head back to the Shinra Manor as part of the quest, the same place where things went south with Sephiroth in Chapter 1 of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. After a few difficult battles, Cloud, along with the rest of the party members, comes across a locked room that has Vincent's coffin. It is interesting to note that this door was present in the first chapter as well, although it couldn't be accessed back then.

After a brief interaction with Vincent, Cloud and his team members will proceed to the next area in the Shinra Manor, but that's where players will have to fight Vincent. The fight isn't going to be an ordinary one, as Vincent will be in his Galian beast form for the fight. While it is hands down one of the toughest bosses in the game, players can capitalize on its weakness to fire to whittle down its HP pretty quickly.

While Cait Sith offers Vincent to join their party after he gets defeated, he refuses and heads back to his room. However, towards the end of the chapter, Vincent joins Cloud and his party as they leave for the Gold Saucer in Cid's ship. Unlike the original game where he was an optional party member, Vincent automatically joins the party as part of the main campaign in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. While fans are disappointed with Vincent not being playable in the game, it is quite likely that the developers are saving it for the third installment, although that is still a while away.
