Cosplay has an incredible power among fan communities to keep players and viewers engaged in popular titles, even long after a game's initial release. Final Fantasy 15 is no exception to this power, as fans have continued to circle around the constantly evolving game since its launch all the way back in 2016.

A cosplayer who goes by the username KendelB Cosplay online has recently posted new photos from her cosplay as Cindy Aurum from Final Fantasy 15. Kendal B is far from the first cosplayer to make a costume for Final Fantasy 15's blonde grease monkey who spends most of her time fixing up the Regalia after players smash it into one too many trees.

The photos come from a couple of shoots that KendelB participated in at Dragon Con 2019 and recently has finished uploading to her Instagram account, @_kendelb. In the description, KendelB also names some of the photographers responsible for some of the stellar shots posted online for her stunning Final Fantasy cosplay set, including @thesleepymuse and @arcane_shutter. The costume itself is simple enough, following Cindy's design in-game with a yellow jacket, jean shorts, and her trademark Hammerhead trucker hat, advertising the mechanic shop she works at.

Cindy has made herself a popular choice among cosplayers like KendelB considering that the character is completely unmissable, even with the massive size of Final Fantasy 15, so every player knows who she is immediately. Of course, the character's design is also a large draw for cosplayers looking gain attention, seeing as how Cindy's outfit seems more suited for the beach than it is for working on cars. Whatever the specific reason was for KendelB to choose Cindy over others like Lunafreya or Aranea, fans have often flocked to support both the game and the talented artists that build the costumes that showcases the characters of Final Fantasy 15.

Final Fantasy 15 actually made headlines recently with the reveal of a mobile MMORPG being developed as a new tie-in game to bring in more players to the series. While the mobile game is focusing primarily on its release in China, a new perspective on the game could very well gain Final Fantasy 15 some more attention in the coming months as more information comes out for the new title. This could me a resurgence in community engagement with the main title, with more players jumping back into the game, more artists creating captivating fan-made works inspired by Final Fantasy 15, and more cosplay bringing the characters to life like never before.

Final Fantasy 15 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
