Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is soon to become one of the hottest exclusives on the PlayStation 5. Anticipation for the new content included with Intergrade is building as its June 10th release date approaches. Capitalizing on that excitement, Square Enix has shared a new "Final" trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade showing off a variety of new content. The trailer teases several previously unseen boss fights, the return of Ramuh, and a unique new minigame that's certain to eat a lot of players' time.

The first third of the new Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade trailer focuses on Cloud and his friends. At first glance, th trailer looks like familiar parts of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake base game. However, at the end of this section, there's a surprise. Weiss the Immaculate from Dirge of Cerberus -Final Fantasy 7- shows up again, having been teased in Intergrade's initial announcement. Now Weiss is seen in all his glory, an opponent of Cloud and friends -- and not Yuffie. This could have some exciting implications.

After the first third of the trailer, more action from Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade's Yuffie DLC is shown. After some new cinematic footage is shown, one of Intergrade's new features is revealed. Introducing Fort Condor, what appears to be a unique strategy minigame with some clear inspiration from Clash Royale. No details about the game are provided beyond the short glimpse at gameplay, but this could mean a variety of new collectibles for players to hunt down like with the Final Fantasy franchise's famous card games.

The back half of the new Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade trailer is full of spoilers for content from the Yuffie DLC. First, Yuffie and her partner in crime Sonon face off against Shinra head of weapons Scarlet in a towering mech. During this fight, Yuffie summons Ramuh, which is a lightning summon new to Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Lastly, the trailer introduces Final Fantasy 7 fans to Nero, another villain from Dirge of Cerberus -Final Fantasy 7-.

What's clear from the new Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade trailer is that players will be venturing into unknown waters. The Yuffie DLC is a story unique and original, though it also clearly takes inspiration from other Final Fantasy 7 spin-offs. The Yuffie DLC will be fans' first chance to see what Square Enix plans to do with the series going forward.

As exciting as the Yuffie DLC is, it's perhaps the tease of Weiss the Immaculate facing off against Cloud and friends that's most intriguing. There could be more content for Cloud than first realized, as players thought they'd only be getting the new Yuffie chapter. It's going to be a long wait until June.
