Final Fantasy 7 Remake has several summon materia that players can unlock and use to get some help during tough battles. During Chapter 6, there is an easy-to-miss materia that can summon a chocobo and a moogle together that have some great moves and do some awesome damage.

Chocobo and Moogle Summon

Summons in the new Final Fantasy 7 Remake are used to bring an extra fighter on the player's side during difficult and long battles. Summon materia has its own slot, and players can summon that unique fighter during battle once the summon meter is full.

The Chocobo and Moogle Summon is one of the most fun and useful chocobos in the series, bringing some big attacks to battles at Cloud's side. While the original summon in the PS1 version of FF7 was the first summon players got, and was also wind-elemental, the new one is a little different. This summon does immense non-elemental damage. Once the ATB meter fills, players can use the Chocobo and Moogle Blast, which will blow enemies away.

Most of the summon materia, like Shiva, are bought from Chadley, the blonde kid that gives Cloud the side quest Stagger Effect. But the Chocobo and Moogle Summon are actually found out in the world instead.

Where to Get It

In Chapter 6, players will travel to the Underplate while heading for the Mako Reactor 5. There will be a red materia hidden behind some giant ventilator fans, and Tifa will point it out to Cloud. However, players can't grab it yet.

They have to wait until the first two of the three sunlamps are deactivated first. Then players will have to take the gondola all the way back to the fan area. The platform will now have power, and Barrett will sing a little song about secrets that will let players know they are on the right track. Head west towards the ladder. Take out the enemies within the one minute time limit. If players fail it the first time, keep trying; the fight will get easier. The next platform will lead to the materia.

Hopefully players will see a lot more of the missing summons in the next chapters of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is available now as a PlayStation 4 exclusive.
