After Cloud and the others had an eventful boat ride during the previous chapter of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, they get a chance to kick back and relax a little upon arriving at Costa del Sol. This chapter is the equivalent of a beach episode, as there are swimsuits and mini-games everywhere. Of course, the story does advance as well. Here is what you can expect as you begin Chapter 6: Fool's Paradise.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is an epic-scale adventure with an unforgettable cast of characters that will keep players busy for dozens of hours.

Exploring Costa del Sol

After the cutscene ends, and you regain control of Cloud, go northwest to leave the dock and head into town. One of the first things you will come across is an item vendor who sells Celeris. This consumable applies Haste to the character that drinks it. While it is expensive, haste is a very beneficial status effect in battle.

If you want to get around quickly, there are Wheelies that you can drive around on. As silly as they look, you can get rewards from the tourist information center if you use the Wheelies enough. The rewards you get for using a Wheelie are as follows

There are also several shops in town as well, including a weapons vendor and a bookshop for Folios. There are some mini-games available, but they don't unlock until you progress in the story. In order to proceed, go to The Royal Coast and talk to the guy behind the counter.

Unfortunately, there are no rooms available at The Royal Coast, so you will have to try the other hotel, Costa del Sol Resort. This hotel can be found near the weapon shop. They don't have any rooms either, but as you leave the hotel you will trigger a cutscene. Follow Johnny as he leads you to his hotel. Once you arrive at the inn, go up the stairs and talk to Johnny.

Get Ready for the Beach

As everyone goes off to do their own thing, you'll be on your own. Head to Cloud's room and use the stand. Next, go down the stairs to leave the hotel. Before long, you'll trigger a cutscene of Cloud being out of his element. You will not be able to progress the story until you obtain clothes that are more appropriate for Costa del Sol. To do this, you will need to obtain companion cards.

To get companion cards, you must participate in various events around the area. But in order to do that, you must find someone who has the same ticket as you. Head down to Pirate's Rampage where you will find Barret, who apparently has the same ticket as Cloud.

This will be your first chance to get companion cards. You will need to get a score of 10,000 points or more to get a companion card. If you manage to get 15,000 points, you will get Time Materia as a prize.

Aerith & Tifa

To progress the story, you only need to get one companion card as that is the cost of the beachware. Once you have an outfit, go left toward the changing booths to put on your new outfit. Head down to the beach to trigger a cutscene, and then you will take control of Aerith. Leave the room and interact with the door to Tifa's room. She will join the party, and you will be able to choose who you control for this particular section of the sixth chapter.

Leave the hotel and approach the same girls that Cloud talked to earlier. Just like with Cloud, you will need to get companion cards to get beachware for Aerith and Tifa. This time, however, you will have a bigger variety of games to choose from. You will need to get a card for Aerith and a card for Tifa. Once you've picked out outfits for the both of them, go down to the beach to advance the story.

Once the cutscene is over, follow Hojo and speak to him once he sits down. This triggers another cutscene, and then you will have to fight more of the creatures you encountered in the previous chapter. Once you've picked a team to help, deal with the enemies. Following another cutscene, you will fight a large mechanical enemy called Grasptropod.

How to Beat Grasptropod

One of the main attacks to watch out for is the unblockable attack where Grasptropod spews out poison clouds around it. It will also periodically shoot out spray that will silence anyone hit by it. Grasptropod is weak to lightning damage. As the fight progresses, Grasptropod will capture another party member. Unfortunately, this is unavoidable. To make matters worse, it will happen again soon after, leaving you with just one party member.

When Cloud gets grabbed as well, it may seem like this boss fight is impossible, but thankfully that is not the case. Yuffie shows up to help, and the fight continues as normal. Keep fighting the boss while Yuffie comes up with a plan. When the boss begins to spin, keep as far away from it as you can until it overheats. While the boss is disabled, destroy the cylinders and then resume attacking the boss. Keep dodging its attacks while remaining on the offensive as much as possible and Grasptropod will be destroyed before long.

Beach Time

After the cutscene is over, talk to everyone on the beach. If you choose the right responses, you will grow closer to your companions. Generally speaking, you want to go with responses that are supportive. Don't blow characters off or dismiss their concerns, as this will not help improve your relationship with them. Once you've talked to everyone, you'll be able to return to the hotel. Go up the stairs and tell Barret you are ready to go.

Yuffie Strikes Again

After the cutscenes, you will encounter Yuffie and you will be given the option to agree to fight her or tell her to beat it. The choice here doesn't matter, as you don't actually fight her. No matter what you choose, she will join the party as the sixth chapter comes to a close and Chapter 7 begins immediately.
