Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth allows players to craft a wide variety of items through the transmutation mechanic. Everything from basic items like potions and ether, to advanced armor and accessories, will become available throughout the course of the game. Because of this, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is practically overflowing with crafting materials, and not all of them are easily found.

Planet's Favor is an example of a crafting material that can be slightly tricky to locate, as the game is not clear on the timing of its availability. This guide will cover the two key ways players can get their hands on Planet's Favor. The first method is to simply find it in the game world. The second method will allow players to transmute as much as they could ever need.

Not every Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth crafting material is easy to come by, with some locked behind main story progress or challenging boss fights.

Where to Find Planet's Favor in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

Planet's Favor is not available until the Junon Region. This is the issue that many players might have with this material when trying to craft high-level craftsmanship items while still in the Grasslands. The menus do not exactly make it clear that the material is not available in the Grasslands at all.

Cloud will reach Junon in Chapter 4, so there will not be too long of a wait from Chapter 2. Once Cloud and the team are in the Junon region, finding Planet's Favor will not be too difficult, though it is one of the rarer materials in the area.

Pay close attention to the icons above the items found on the ground. Planet's Favor is frequently found with Planet's Blessing, both of which are marked with a circular series of dashes within the diamond box above all items. See the included image for clarity.

How to Craft Planet's Favor in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

Once players reach the Junon region, there will eventually be a way to add Planet's Favor to the Item Transmuter. Follow these steps to gain permanent access to Planet's Favor:

  • The first step will be to scan two of the four Lifespring locations in Junon. It does not matter which two. Check the above map for all four locations.
  • After scanning the second Lifespring, Chadley will chime in to announce that he has once again located a location containing transmuter chips. This location will be found on the southwestern edge of the region.
  • Use Belle the Chocobo to sniff out and dig up each chip. One of the three locations will be the Planet's Favor transmutation chip.

Once players have the chip, they will have to use the following materials each time they transmute Planet's Favor:

Once the party reaches the Corel region, Planet's Favor can be purchased from the Chocobo Ranch store for 100 Gil.
