Players are still enjoying the recent release of Final Fantasy 7 Remake and the nostalgia is strong amongst long-time fans as they get to experience their favorite moments all over again. A particular part of the game that resonates with fans is when Cloud Strife has to cross-dress as a woman in order to fool the crimelord, Don Corneo.

This hilarious moment has captivated the hearts of fans since it first appeared in the original Final Fantasy 7 that released on PlayStation 1, but now we get to witness it in glorious modern-day graphics. Of course, with any fan-favorite, the fan art is sure to follow.

9 Pryce14

This fan art of Miss Cloud Strife by Pryce14 still has Cloud looking as though he's ready to deliver a beatdown and has his guns out while wearing his classic purple dress. Don't let the ribbons fool you, this guy is more than ready to use that buster sword.

The other great thing about this fan art is that it almost looks as though Cloud has thrown his cross-dressing disguise over the top of his SOLDIER uniform as the top portion appears similar to his normal clothing.

8 Mindcreator

This fan art of cross-dressing Cloud by Mindcreator displays the various new dresses added in Final Fantasy 7 Remake, all of which are more elaborate and fancy than the original purple dress. You can still acquire the purple dress in Remake, but it is classed as the most basic option.

The pink dress with crown almost gives Cloud a more Princess Peach look, but do we think Mario would fall for this disguise? We know it's enough to fool Don Corneo after all.

7 PerroneLia

Cloud is back in his classic purple dress from the original game in this fan art piece by PerroneLia, and he's looking pretty comfortable in it too. This piece gives off "girl's night out" vibes to the max.

Compared to the more beautiful dresses of Tifa and Aerith, it's hard to see why Don Corneo chooses Cloud, especially in his plainest dress. In Remake, Don Corneo will always opt for "the big-boned girl" (Cloud), however, in the original PlayStation 1 version, this wasn't guaranteed unless you fulfilled certain requisites.

6 Egooolps

This piece by Egooolps mixes two fan-favorite Final Fantasy titles together, combining Wall Market Cloud with Squall Leonhart from Final Fantasy 8. Cloud is wearing his classic purple dress and Squall is wearing his SeeD uniform, prompting fans to imagine a cross-over where Squall meets Miss Cloud at the dance rather than Rinoa.

This art gives the characters softer, more innocent-looking faces, but contrasts this gentle look with its deep colors, creating a suspenseful mood. Cloud has his buster sword at the ready, so he might be willing to put up a fight in order to get out of dancing.

5 HeavyMetalHanzo

This fan art by HeavyMetalHanzo is great at capturing Cloud's attitude of being absolutely done with his ruse, with Don Corneo cowering on the ground. This piece is a more comical style, and emphasizes Cloud's horrendous make-up and pairs it with his awful classic purple dress.

Cloud is showing plenty of leg in this girly get-up and of course, no cross-dressing outfit is complete in Wall Market without a whopping great buster sword to accessorize it with. You can check this piece out over at the artist's Deviant Art page.

4 Pyms11

Pyms11's fan art of Wall Market Cloud manages to capture the expression of innocent surprise on his face. Perhaps this is when Cloud first sees his reflection when cross-dressing, and he realizes that he actually makes a beautiful woman. He certainly has fans of his more feminine look.

This piece uses one of the new dresses from Final Fantasy 7 Remake, opting for the blue and black option that gives Cloud a more gothic look. Obtaining this dress takes a bit longer than the other dress quests.

3 Rob Porter

Cloud certainly doesn't look comfortable cross-dressing in this fan art by Rob Porter, which you can find on his Art Station page. While Tifa and Aerith are looking gorgeous and ready for a night on the town, or a night winning over Don Corneo in any case, Cloud doesn't manage to pull off the same look.

Our poor boy is looking pretty awkward in this shorter version of his classic purple dress, which shows off more skin and is coupled with heels rather than his regular boots.

2 Amazio_K

This rather majestic looking fan art by Amazio_k has Cloud being attended to by Tifa and Aerith, making it appear similar to the idea of a princess being waited on by handmaidens. Cloud looks quite commanding in this image, though it's hard to tell whether he's comfortable or not in his new get-up.

This black and grey dress is one of the new options from Final Fantasy 7 Remake, giving the best boy a bit of a more glam look than his regular purple dress, but keeping it a little more low key than some of his other more elegant dress options.

23333hh

It's hard to fight the temptation to twirl around when you're wearing a dress and apparently Cloud succumbed to this temptation too. This fan art piece by 23333hh presents Cloud in his more gothic dress attire available in Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

The lighting in this piece gives the idea of a spotlight and Cloud being center stage as he twirls around in his beautiful new outfit. This fan art gives Cloud a more gentle feminine look and you can totally see why Don Corneo would fall for him with this piece.

1 Jiugeart

Cloud appears to be embracing his feminine side in this Wall Market Cloud fan art by Jiugeart, as our favorite SOLDIER is sporting a daring cut right up to his hip so we can see his stockings and garter. Despite his elegant outfit, his face and buster sword shows that he's ready for business.

The dress in this art isn't an exact replica of any of the dresses from the game but instead seems to mix more than one of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake dresses into one to create a beautiful, unique outfit.
