Final Fantasy 16: How to Get Ultima Weapon
In order to obtain the Ultima Weapon, players must craft it by combining three items: the Utterance of Creation, Everdark Reforged, and Gotterdammerung Reforged. Here are details on how to claim all of those items, and fans can create the Ultima Weapon at the Black Hammer when they have them in hand:
Utterance of Creation
Players will automatically receive the Utterance of Creation upon starting a NG+ playthrough of FF16 on Final Fantasy Mode.
Everdark Reforged
Players will obtain this sword by following the weapon chain that begins with the crafting of the Stormcry Reforged in their NG+ playthroughs. For full clarity, fans can start this chain when they earn the Wind Shard from Garuda on Final Fantasy Mode, and they will continually transform the weapon as they defeat story bosses. This process of transformation will end with the Everdark Reforged after earning the Flawless Dark Shard from Barnabas.
Gotterdammerung Reforged
The first step toward earning Gotterdammerung Reforged is unlocking its Design Draft. To do this, players must complete FF16's Blacksmith's Blues I - IV side quests, a series that can be initiated after starting the Here Be Monsters main quest. Notably, fans will also receive the Ragnarok Reforged sword as a reward for completing these side quests, and it will ultimately be used in the crafting of the Gotterdammerung Reforged.
