With the powerful Eikons and all manner of creatures roaming the world of Valisthea, sometimes, it is easy to forget that Clive's fellow men can be a big threat as well in Final Fantasy 16. After all, the human drama at the core of the story is what drives everything forward, and when ambitions grow too large to contain, expect to see plenty of bloodshed and conflict to find a solution.
As such, it is no surprise for players of Final Fantasy 16 to find themselves fighting other humans, be it for progressing the story or for justice. And in the case of the Holy Trumpitour, who is ominously named The Man in Black as a Notorious Mark, players will be wise to tread carefully and rely on the following guide to prepare themselves.
Where to Find Holy Trumpitour in Final Fantasy 16
The B-rank enemy can be found in Sanbreque, and, conveniently, in Lostwing. Simply fast travel to the nearby Obelisk, and then head east to reach the entrance of an underground passage. Go all the way to the end and find the enemy waiting.
How to Beat Holy Trumpitour in Final Fantasy 16
The size of this enemy should already be a warning that he hits hard, but at the same time, it means that the Holy Trumpitour is a slow foe, which makes it easier for Clive to win. Here are the enemy's attacks to be wary of:
- As with most foes, the Holy Trumpitour is capable of hurtful melee attacks, so when up close, watch out. The melee attacks can be slow to wind up, so beware of jumping the gun when dodging.
- At range, the enemy can use its flamethrower to attack and cover a large area. Instead of chancing it, simply back away and to the side to avoid damage.
- When the Holy Trumpitour uses Rocketeer, he will repeatedly rush toward Clive to cause damage. Dodging is only a temporary measure, so use Titan's Titanic Block to stop him completely and counterattack.
- As for Recoil, this attack will see the enemy leap and smash into the ground near Clive, and causing earth crystals to erupt from the ground. This attack comes in cycles of three, so be wary and dodge to the side each time to prevent any harm.
Any time there is a window of opportunity, be sure to use Eikons and Eikonic Abilities to damage the foe. Titan's Eikonic Feat is definitely useful here, as shared in the above section, but so is Phoenix's in closing the gap with the enemy. Either way, once players are familiar with the attack pattern of the Holy Trumpitour, it won't take too long to bring him down.
Winning the fight against the Holy Trumpitour will net Clive and gang 2200 XP, 75 Ability Points, 9800 Gil, and 20 Renown. In addition, the collection of crafting materials will see the arrival of one Meteorite and one Scarletite.
