Pandemonium is a Level 45, S-Rank Notorious Mark in Final Fantasy 16 that will eventually appear on the Hunt Board. As is typically the case with Notorious Marks, Pandemonium's precise position is not revealed by his Hunt Board listing, and some players may struggle to track him down. For those fans that are having trouble finding Pandemonium in Final Fantasy 16, this guide is here to provide details on his location.

Final Fantasy 16: How to Find Pandemonium

Players that are on the hunt for Pandemonium should fast travel to the Shadow Coast obelisk in the Southwestern Ash Deadlands. From here, fans should follow the path northward to enter Wolfdarr and then exit the town using the path that travels in a southwestward direction. This path will ultimately lead FF16 players into a circular arena, and Pandemonium will emerge from behind a door at its perimeter.

Final Fantasy 16: How to Beat Pandemonium

The battle with this FF16 Notorious Mark can be a difficult one, requiring players to avoid a variety of attacks as they attempt to deal damage to the foe. Here are details on those attacks as well as information about how to address them:

  • Sanguine Fields: This attack sees Pandemonium conjure large orbs that explode as they come into contact with the ground. Fortunately, the areas that will be affected by these explosions are marked with large red circles, and players should stand outside of them to avoid taking damage.
  • Rictus of Horror: This attack manifests as a large beam that emanates from Pandemonium's staff, and it is his most devastating offensive tool. It is quite easy to avoid with a simple sideways dodge, though, as its long charge animation gives Final Fantasy fans ample time to prepare.
  • Small Orbs & Mines: Pandemonium will occasionally place small orbs and mines around the arena, which will damage players that are in their vicinity. While these objects can be avoided without much difficulty, they can appear during other attacks, making the battlefield quite chaotic.
  • Explosion: Pandemonium can perform an explosion that will hit FF16's Clive if he is standing near to the foe. This attack is telegraphed by the Notorious Mark hunching forward, and fans should back away when they see that animation begin.

While these attacks are already quite a lot to deal with, Pandemonium will also teleport and dish out strong melee strikes during the fight. However, players that primarily focus on dodging, and wait patiently for good opportunities to go on offense, will eventually bring down the King of the Orcs and claim their rewards.

Final Fantasy 16 is available for PlayStation 5.
