Previous updates have added new controller configurations and an option to customize the level of motion blur, but it hasn’t received huge patches that make significant changes. Now, Square Enix has announced a new update for Final Fantasy 16.
As reported by Push Square, the upcoming patch for Final Fantasy 16 will make adjustments to how Arcade Mode evaluates player performance. A new leaderboard will be added to the game as well, but it doesn’t look like this update will make any more changes. According to the same report, the new Final Fantasy 16 update will be released on Sunday, August 27.
Arcade Mode in Final Fantasy 16 lets fans replay previous stages in the game, allowing them to aim for higher scores and compare their performance with other players. Arcade Mode offers a great way for gamers to experience a previously completed Final Fantasy 16 mission once again, while also giving them an opportunity to test new abilities. While it doesn't seem like a major new addition, it’ll be interesting to see how Arcade Mode changes when the new Final Fantasy 16 update launches later this week.
Final Fantasy 16 did not have a ton of bugs when it came out, but perhaps this update will also fix issues that are not that common. It doesn’t look like the new patch will have an impact on the performance mode of Final Fantasy 16, which is pretty unstable outside of combat encounters.
