Square Enix has just released the Final Fantasy 16Ultimania book in Japan, and one of the many game details revealed in the publication include the official ages of the action RPG's characters. Though fans are probably already familiar with how old Final Fantasy 16 main protagonists like Clive Rosfield and Jill Warrick are, there are still other characters whose ages have only been revealed within the book.

Square Enix listened to the requests of the fans, recently announcing that Final Fantasy 16 will be getting two paid DLCs post-launch. Alongside the DLC announcement, the action RPG received an update that not only fixed bugs and added new skins, but also allowed players to transmogrify character outfits and weapons to their choosing. Now, with dedicated fans doing the rest of the player base a service by translating and publishing some of the content from the FF16 Ultimania book online, many are learning more and getting interested in the action RPG.
On Twitter, Aitai Japan Inc. CEO Audrey Lamsam shared details from the Final Fantasy 16 Ultimania book, particularly the ages of specific characters from the action RPG. Their first post revealed that Clive's brother, Joshua Rosfield, Dion Lesage, and Terence were all 23 before the time skip and 28 after. Moving on to older Final Fantasy 16 characters, Lamsam reported that Benedikta Harman is 28, Hugo Kupka is 38, and Cidolfus "Cid" Telamon is 44 years old. Barnabas Tharmr is reportedly 70 years old after the time skip, but looks like he is only 42. Unfortunately, Sleipnir's age remains unknown, and other minor characters like Mid and Edda are aged 16 and 17, respectively.
Lamsam also provides details like character profiles and timelines for other Final Fantasy 16 fans to take a look at. Given that Square Enix has not announced when the book will be available in English, players are likely grateful that one fan is taking it upon themselves to translate the content for them. FF16 Ultimania still covers a lot of content about the game, such as its lore, worlds, battle system, scenarios, enemies, items, and even secrets, so there is may be more that Lamsan translates in the future.
