Aside from that, there have also been a number of quality of life updates to the PvP system.

Each job has its own Limit Break and the Limit Break executed depends on the job of the player who triggers it. Patch 6.1 includes some additional job-specific Limit Breaks for the PvP system.

Crystalline Conflict

In order for players to enjoy the new Crystalline Conflict mode, they will have to have completed the "A Pup No Longer" mission for their Grand Company. Those who have already completed the mission before the patch do not have to redo the mission and can enjoy the mode right after updating.

Crystalline Conflict's new PvP game mode is objective-based, involving two small teams of five in a soccer-style gameplay. Players need to maintain control of a crystal and transport it to the opposing team's goal. This game mode features three arenas for players to experience: Palaistra, Volcanic Heart, and Cloud Nine.

In collaboration with the popular Japanese show GARO, players can ride special mounts and use unique equipment during gameplay. Thanks to the collaboration, players can once more receive GARO-related equipment as rewards for PvP matches.
