With the new patch set to arrive soon, the famous Japanese MMO has added a trial to the game to help conclude the void storyline in the MSQ. The Abyssal Fracture is the final trial of the Endwalker expansion, and with its release, new trial weapons can be collected through the completion of the extreme version.
Final Fantasy 14: 12 Most Epic Boss Fights, Ranked
Final Fantasy 14 has some outstanding battles. These are some of the most epic boss fights in the game so far.
As with previous extreme trials, the fight must be cleared to attain one of the 20 extreme weapons, leaving weapons to be acquired through loot rolls. If not gained through loot rolls, players can get a desired weapon by clearing the fight five times, leading to totems being received, which can be exchanged for extreme weapons. With the introduction of The Abyssal Fracture extreme trial, Voidvessel weapons have been added as rewards, with these weapons being adequate gear or pieces of glamour for Warriors of Light all around Eorzea.
1 Voidvessel Spear
Class: Lancer, Job: Dragoon
Level | Item Level | Requirement | Damage | Stats and Attributes |
90 | 655 | LNC DRG | 130 Physical | Strength +399 Vitality +442 Critical Hit +210 Determination +300 |
The Voidvessel Spear has features that stand out, such as the blue eye that is present on all the Voidvessel weapons. The Dragoon's extreme weapon, particularly at the bottom of the spear handle, features a blue circle similar to that of Zeromus's eye, with the design being visually pleasing while matching the theme of Zeromus, the boss of the trial. Besides the blue, the spear has red, shaded identically to the color of Zeromus's flesh.
The red features on the top part of the spear alongside the silver dragon-scaled coat, although including the red flesh color onto the silver handle near the bottom would have added a more ghastly look as previous extreme weapons in the expansion, such as the Flamecloaked Bident featured a unique color scheme on the staff of the spear.
2 Voidvessel Codex
Job: Scholar
Level | Item Level | Requirement | Damage | Stats and Attributes |
90 | 655 | SCH | 130 Magical | Mind +399 Vitality +398 Critical Hit +300 Determination +210 |
With Scholar being one of the strongest jobs in the game, the Scholar weapon Voidvessel Codex is the only weapon from the extreme trial to have its appearance not entirely fit the theme of the trial's boss. The Voidvessel Codex's primary color is pink, accompanied by silver and blue originating from Zeromus. The standout pink gives the weapon a fresh and fun look, opposite the boss's overall theme.
Through all the Scholar extreme weapons released in the Endwalker expansion, the Voidvessel Codex differentiates itself to become a standout among the Scholar weapons through its unique and fun color scheme.
3 Voidvessel Guillotine
Job: Dark Knight
Level | Item Level | Requirement | Damage | Stats and Attributes |
90 | 655 | DRK | 130 Physical | Strength +399 Vitality +442 Critical Hit +300 Determination +210 |
The Dark Knight job receives a fierce and menacing Voidvessel weapon to add to the job's ever-growing collection. Once taking down antagonists Golbez and Zeromus, the Voidvessel Guillotine is a weapon that becomes available that succeeds in pulling off the Zeromus look.
22 Most Breathtaking Locations In Final Fantasy 14
Final Fantasy 14 is one of the most visually impressive in the series. Here are a few of this MMORPG's most glorious locations.
The crisp red flesh color intertwined into the silver-coated blade gives the weapon a terrifying appearance, accompanied by the blue spheres near the handle. This creates a clean look that makes the Guillotine one of the best of the Voidvessel set.
4 Voidvessel Index
Class: Arcanist, Job: Summoner
Level | Item Level | Requirement | Damage | Stats and Attributes |
90 | 655 | ACN SMN | 130 Magical | Intelligence +399 Vitality +398 Critical Hit +300 Determination +210 |
Although similar to the Scholar's Voidvessel Codex, the Voidvessel Index reflects the themes of Zeromus, giving a ferocious but intelligent look. The weapon is reminiscent of the Grimoire of Divine Light from The Minstrel's Ballad: Hydaelyn's Call extreme trial, one of the first in the Endwalker expansion. The aforementioned extreme weapons share the same silver coat covering the outside, while both have the predominant colors of their respective bosses covering the book's center.
The blue circles on the book contrast the red and silver, offering a neat and easy-on-the-eye look that will be sure to make the Voidvessel Index thoroughly popular out of all the Voidvessel weapons.
5 Voidvessel Blade
Job: Samurai
Level | Item Level | Requirement | Damage | Stats and Attributes |
90 | 655 | SAM | 130 Physical | Strength +399 Vitality +442 Critical Hit +210 Determination +300 |
The newest Samurai weapon in Final Fantasy 14 delivers one of the best of the Endwalker expansion due to the Voidvessel Blade's slick and piercing appearance. The red intertwined in a pattern with the silver coat going up the blade makes the weapon stand out entirely, as the design is the perfect mix of flair and ferocity, ideal for playing the Samurai job.
With the role of Samurai having some of the best weapon pieces in the game, the Voidvessel Blade ranks among the best, particularly of the Endwalker releases, because it perfectly encapsulates Zeromus's themes while having its unique look.
6 Voidvessel War Scythe
Job: Reaper
Level | Item Level | Requirement | Damage | Stats and Attributes |
90 | 655 | RPR | 130 Physical | Strength +399 Vitality +442 Critical Hit +210 Determination +300 |
As one of the more recent jobs to be added to the game, Reaper has received plenty of quality glamour for the scythe. With Voidvessel War Scythe, the amount of silver covering most of the weapon is an excellent, clean design choice accompanied by scaling. The design looks eerily similar to dragon skin, giving the War Scythe an imperious effect. The blue circles at the top of the scythe look similar to Zeromus's eye, adding more detail to the Reaper's latest weapon.
Final Fantasy 14: 18 Tips On Gil Farming
Final Fantasy 14 is one of the best MMORPGs on the market, but getting a hold of its Gil economy can be a challenge.
For all the strategies and tips needed to play Reaper, having the Voidvessel War Scythe for raiding will be a helpful addition as a weapon and a glamour piece.
7 Voidvessel Cavalry Bow
Class: Archer, Job: Bard
Level | Item Level | Requirement | Damage | Stats and Attributes |
90 | 655 | ARC BRD | 130 Physical | Dexterity +399 Vitality +442 Critical Hit +300 Direct Hit Rate +210 |
One of the stand-out weapons of the Voidvessel set is the Voidvessel Cavalry Bow. The bow meshes the red and silver well together, particularly on the arrow, which features a silver tip, while the arrow shaft is red, causing the perfect contrast for the extreme weapon.
The Voidvessel Cavalry Bow lacks the finesse and beauty of a Fae Crown Longbow, with the skin portraying a creepy tone throughout the design to keep it in line with Zeromus and his monstrous appearance, creating a wholly unique weapon that is one of best in Endwalker.
8 Voidvessel Claws
Class: Pugilist, Job: Monk
Level | Item Level | Requirement | Damage | Stats and Attributes |
90 | 655 | PGL MNK | 130 Physical | Strength +399 Vitality +442 Critical Hit +210 Determination +300 |
The Monk extreme weapon Voidvessel Claws is one of the most impressive of the Voidvessel set. The highlight of the weapon involves its alien claws, which are unlike any design Monk weapons have had in Final Fantasy 14. The Silver claws go along well with the blue eyes with the combination, making it seem that the weapon itself is alive, adding to the weapon design's monster effect.
The monstrous look is sure to be very effective when designing glamour sets, as the claws can be paired with other grotesque armor pieces to create frightening outfits to wear in battle.
