Ligue 1 is one of the top five leagues in the world, and it is home to some of the biggest names. In addition to the star players, the league also boasts of an incredible crop of young talent, but in the list, we will be taking a look at the highest-rated players in FIFA 23, who play in Ligue 1.

10 Sergio Ramos (84)

Sergio Ramos left Real Madrid in a bizarre fashion after the club failed to extend his contract. Ramos was eventually signed by Paris Saint Germain (PSG), and it seemed that a new adventure was about to unfold.

Sadly, Ramos' time at his new club has been tainted by injuries, and in his debut season, he only made 12 appearances. Clearly, after an abysmal season, Ramos' rating was going to be lowered and in the newest edition of the game, he has a rating of just 84.

9 Hakimi (84)

Despite just being 23 years old, Hakimi has played for several big clubs, which include the likes of Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan, and PSG.

Hakimi is a part of the new generation of fullbacks, who like to be involved in attacks. In FIFA 23, Hakimi only has a rating of 84, so he might not be the first choice for some players.

8 Ben Yedder (84)

Ben Yedder playing for Monaco

Ben Yedder had an incredible 21/22 season, where he scored 25 league goals and assisted a further five. Ben Yedder's goals helped AS Monaco to finish third in the league and earned them an opportunity to qualify for next year's Champions League.

Ben Yedder's card is rated 84 in FIFA 23, and while some people might want to use him, there are many forwards who have much better stats.

7 Verratti (87)

Marco Verratti has been an outstanding servant for PSG. He joined the club back in the 12/13 season, and he stayed with the club in spite of tempting offers elsewhere. During his time at the club, Verratti has cemented his place as one of the best midfielders in the world.

Verratti has won almost every trophy with PSG save for the UEFA Champions League and the midfielder will be hoping that he can finally lift it in the 22/23 season.

Keylor Navas playing for PSG

In the last decade, Navas has impressed the fans with his incredible performances. He played a pivotal role in Real Madrid's historic three-peat of the Champions League. After winning everything with Real Madrid, Navas set out on a new challenge and joined PSG.

It didn't take long for Navas to make an impact on his new club. Sadly, after signing Donnarumma, Navas has become the second choice, but whenever he has been called into action he has always proved his quality. Even with his limited performances, Navas retains his rating of 88.

5 Donnarumma (88)

Donnarumma signed for PSG after winning the EUROS with Italy. He was the hero of the game as he saved two penalties, which crowned Italy the champions. Donnarumma had a fairly average last season, and his performances in the Champions League weren't good either.

This led to EA reducing his rating by 1 point, which means his new rating is 88. However, he is still one of the highest-rated goalkeepers in the game. His stats include 90 in diving, 89 in reflexes, and 85 in positioning.

4 Marquinhos (88)

Marquinhos playing for PSG

Marquinhos is the captain of PSG as well as their best defender. The defender has continued to improve with every passing season and currently, he is among the most elite defenders in the world.

In FIFA 22, Marquinhos had a rating of 87, but his impressive performances last season saw his FIFA 23 rating being increased to 88. Marquinhos' stats include 89 in defending and 80 in physicality, which is going to make it difficult for the opponents to get past him.

3 Neymar Jr. (89)

Neymar Jr. had yet another disappointing season as he was ravaged by injuries. He was unable to help PSG get past Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. In Ligue 1, Neymar managed to score a meager 13 goals, which is not impressive by any means.

However, Neymar looks like a changed man as he has begun the new season on a high note. Neymar already has 18 goal involvements, and he seems to be a man on a mission. Unfortunately, since the rating is based on last season, Neymar has been given a rating of 89, which is a decrease of two points from his previous rating.

2 Messi (91)

Professional footballer Lionel Messi.

The 21/22 season was unforgettable for the legendary Lionel Messi. He managed to score just 6 goals in the league, which is nowhere near the standards that he has set over the years.

Messi's card has been downgraded by 2 points and his new rating is 91, which is fair considering the season he had. The Argentine will be hoping to get back to his usual best before the World Cup starts in November.

1 Mbappe (91)

Professional footballer Kylian Mbappe.

It is no surprise that Mbappe is joint-top with Lionel Messi. The young Frenchman enjoyed another scintillating season as he racked up 39 goals and 26 assists in all competitions for PSG. As expected, Mbappe made a promising start to the new season, and he has already been involved in 10 goals so far.

With the FIFA World Cup coming, Mbappe will be hoping to keep his momentum going in order to help France win yet another World Cup. In FIFA 23, Mbappe will have a ridiculously high pace of 97, which will allow the players to torment their opponents.

FIFA 23 is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
