These strikers have insane potential that should be replicated in the next entry of EA Sport's soccer video game. Young players are a great way to get cheap deals for lower ranked clubs who will become superstars in a few seasons or be sold for some amazing profit. This update adds five new wonderkid strikers that any gamer should pick up for career mode in FIFA 23.
15 Eliesse Ben Seghir - 83 Potential
Starting off at 67 overall the AS Monaco striker is a perfect young forward to pick up on FIFA 23 career mode, at just 17 years of age the sky is the limit.
Gamers can pick him up for a very modest $2.6million, and he will be worth 10x that in the future with the right potential. His key stats include 80 agility, 78 sprint speed and 77 balance. With Ben Seghir gamers will have a quick forward who is great at dribbling, if that's what the side needs then make sure to pick up this bargain.
14 Georginho Rutter - 83 Potential
Leeds United may have just signed this striker in real life, but that doesn't mean gamers can't pick up this Frenchman in career mode. Available for around $6.5million this one will be for the richer teams, but his price will be worth it.
At 6 feet he is strong with 70 strength but also quick 78 sprint speed, along with 79 balance and 79 dribbling, Rutter is the perfect all-around striker. Just 20 as well he has makings of the perfect forward and gamers will want to get in early to avoid his price going up as he reaches his potential.
13 Jason van Duiven - 84 Potential
The Dutch forward is just 17 years of age and gamers will find him at PSV Eindhoven in the Dutch Eredivisie. He starts at 66 overall with the potential to grow up to 84, of course with dynamic potential in the game he can grow beyond that, players could be looking at the next Ruud van Nistelrooy.
To pick up van Duiven it will cost around $2.1million, but a loan can be arranged to get him for nothing (for at least a season). His best stats are his 81 jumping and 74 balance so if gamers sign the Dutchman they will be receiving an aerial threat.
12 Alejo Veliz - 84 Potential
18-year-old 6 foot 2 Alejo Veliz is a monster in the air with his 83 heading accuracy, an Argentine who currently plays for Rosario Central in the Argentine Primera Division.
Starting off as a 72-rated striker, $5.5million is the price to sign him, so it may be a little pricey for the lower ranked club but due to his physical attributes, he will be perfect for an English Championship or lower-rated Premier League side. Along with his heading accuracy, his other top stats are 75 positioning, 74 finishing and 72 strength. A beast.
11 Hugo Ekitike - 84 Potential
PSG's latest French wonderkid striker, taking the mantle from a certain Kylian Mbappe, is a great striker to pick up on career mode with a very good 84 potential. Ekitike is actually on loan to the French giants, so gamers will have to wait a year to sign him when he returns to Reims.
The wait will be worth it as Ekitike starts off at 76-rated with 80 finishing, 78 dribbling and 78 positioning being his best attributes. He will cost a pricey $16.5million but for a player with his ceiling, it will be worth splashing the cash.
10 Joao Pedro - 84 Potential
Starting at 73 rating Joao Pedro is available for a steal of $6.5million, given his 84 potential Watford will be robbed blind if Pedro is picked up on career mode.
In the Championship, Joao Pedro is a bit of a hidden gem, gamers will want that Brazilian flair in their team and with his 80 agility and 79 dribbling being his best stats they will have a really great striker in Pedro. Already a great finisher and great in the air, this striker will be perfect for many sides and at just 20 years old he will reach his potential quickly and hopefully grow beyond that with dynamic potential.
9 Marko Lazetic - 84 Potential
Marko Lazetic is a beast of a striker, standing at 6 foot 4, if a big target man is what the team needs then this man is the best the game has to offer. The Serbian is just 18 years old his potential can be matched fairly quickly, he will no doubt head every ball that comes into the box.
It will cost just $1.8million to pick him up, he does start at 65 overall though but with some training and game time, he will grow really quickly. With 73 agility and 71 balance, despite his stature, he has great movement. Gamers will have to wait a year, however as the AC Milan man is on loan at Rheindorf Altach.
8 Henrique Araujo - 85 Potential
Watford has some great young strikers in the game and Henrique Araujo is no exception, starting off as a 71-rated striker Araujo can reach the heights of 85 and potentially beyond.
For a respectable $4.5million the Portuguese is a steal for any side with his 78 jumping, 75 strength and 74 shot power being his most desirable features. He is 6 foot tall which is a great height for a forward, and he will slot right into to most Championship sides and be the main goalscorer.
7 Evan Ferguson - 85 Potential
Premier League fans will know the name of this man as Evan Ferguson has been lighting things up for his side Brighton & hove Albion. The Irishman is just 17 years of age, and he almost looks like the complete package already, at 69 rated he has the 85 potential and will cost just $3.5million. A must-sign.
With 77 sprint speed, 74 finishing and 73 strength he has the makings of an elite-level striker, gamers will regret not picking up Evan Ferguson early.
6 Facundo Farias - 85 Potential
Argentina has had some amazing strikers over the years, of course, Lionel Messi but also Sergio Aguero, Lisandro Martinez and Carlos Tevez. Argentina seems to have another one here in Facundo Farias.
Playing for Colon in the Argentinean League, Farias starts at 75 overall and can grow up to 85, available for just $12million also. With just a year left on his contract players should be able to pick him up for cheaper. However, he cannot be picked up as a free agent the following season as he is just 19 and players can only be released like that at 23+. 91 acceleration and 91 balance are his best stats, a superb player for career mode.
5 Mohamed-Ali Cho - 85 Potential
With a namesake as arguably the best boxer the world has seen Mohamed-Ali Cho packs a punch as one of the best strikers in FIFA 23 career mode. Starting off as a 72 overall, Cho can be bought for around $5.5million which is insane value for a player of his potential.
Playing for La Liga side Real Sociedad this left-footed 18-year-old can become an insane striker for any side, his best stats are 83 acceleration, 81 dribbling and 79 sprint speed. Already a good forward, but he will become amazing with some training and score plenty of goals.
4 Elye Wahi - 85 Potential
Another Frenchmen, the future is looking bright for the European nation. Wahi starts off as a 75 overall and can gain +10 but more with dynamic potential given he plays loads and performs well.
But there is no doubt that he won't as he looks like a goal machine in the making, playing for Ligue 1 Montpellier, his top attributes are his movement, dribbling and finishing. With 78 finishing at 19, just imagine how better that will become in a few seasons, goals will become second nature to Wahi in no time.
3 Benjamin Sesko - 85 Potential
19-year-old Benjamin Sesko starts off at 74 overall and can reach 85 and potentially beyond, playing for Red Bull Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga. The fact he is Slovenian is a bonus as it is a unique nation, and it is nice to have some different nationalities to mix up the career mode side.
Sesko is a monster with his 83 strength, and it will take a lot to power him off the ball, complete with his 84 sprint speed and 77 acceleration, gamers will have a fast and strong striker for their side. Available for just $9million too, a must-buy.
2 Mathys Tel - 86 Potential
Mathys Tel is amazing in FIFA 23 career mode, playing for Bayern Munich in the German Bundesliga, at just 68 overall he can be purchased for a measly $3million which is a bargain for that 86 potential.
Tel has 79 shot power, which is his best attribute, so he will no doubt be a goal machine firing in those goals with his powerful right boot, complete with his long-shot taker trait. Just 17 years old the future is bright and gamers should recognize this and pick him for their career mode sides. A loan can be arranged for this one as well if the chosen team is really poor.
1 Youssoufa Moukoko - 89 Potential
No question about it, the best wonderkid striker in FIFA 23 career mode is Youssoufa Moukoko of Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga. The German international is a true prospect in every sense of the word, just 17 years old, already starting off at 75 overall and can grow to a staggering 89.
His best stats are 85 balance, 83 sprint speed and 84 agility, but his 79 finishing is the highlight as for a 17-year-old this is basically unthinkable. Plenty of goals later his 89 potential will be reached in no time and will grow beyond the 90s, his $17million price tag is a steal for the potential that Moukoko has in store.
