This week, the official EA Top Bins show sat down to discuss the recent surplus of news surrounding FIFA 22 and what encompasses the near future regarding in-game content. Hosts Kyle Riley and Shelden Rogers sat down with a variety of guests in the 20-minute feature on YouTube to discuss some of the latest updates to the soccer title.

Among the topics covered, the show recapped the FIFA 22 Title Update #8, along with updates to the GOTW and pro clubs, some news about the E-Premier League, information on upcoming Fantasy FUT items, and giveaway announcements. It was a content-packed week for EA's soccer franchise, and the title continues to receive consistent updates each month.

Earlier in the week, fixes to bugs and in-game problems were addressed in the FIFA 22 Title Update #8, with the full patch notes available on the developer's site covering all changes made. Top Bins decided to bring back its Goals of the Week feature, which allows players to send in submissions of the best goal they scored during the week. The show chooses two of its favorites to display to its audience and then posts a poll, giving the choice to the fans to decide which goal is the better of the two. The fourth edition of the E-Premier League should bring excitement to the platform, as 20 teams will compete against each other for the opportunity to win $100,000, with the finals airing on both Twitch and YouTube.

In other news, the Fantasy FUT Team 2 was revealed and featured 13 of the week's best players around the world. Almost two weeks ago, FIFA 22 Fantasy FUT Team 1 was released to the player base, and the developer has followed it up with some big names, including Dembele, Coutinho, and Alex Sandro. As the World Cup Qualifiers are currently underway, some names featured on the Team 2 list are receiving extra attention from their performances on a grander stage. While Team 1 was a major hit, there are some noticeable omissions from the list, including Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic, who registered three tallies and aided the United States to qualify for the World Cup.

Along with the 28th edition of the FUT22 Team of the Week and some giveaways to drive up interest, EA is making its best effort to keep its player base involved with FIFA 22. Unfortunately, many glaring issues remain in the game, and a lack of objectives and rewards has many fans disgruntled. With reports revealing EA's rebranding of its FIFA franchise, it will be interesting to follow what the developer has in mind when it comes to future installments. For the time being, soccer fans will require patience when dealing with some of these problems and participating in the game's future challenges.

FIFA 22 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
