Phenomenon Intel 4: The Hideout marks the end of the protorelic storyline in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's Grasslands, and players who want to earn the Founder's Bonus trophy must complete it. While that is not a particularly difficult undertaking, fans may find themselves stuck at several points. This guide is here to help players who are in that situation, and a complete walkthrough of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's Phenomenon Intel 4: The Hideout can be found in what follows.
While the preliminary waypoint for this task indicates that it is called "Phenomenon Intel 4: The Hideout," it will ultimately appear in the Intel log and on the map as "Phenomenon Intel 4: Taking Care of Business."
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Thresher Waterwheel Chest Locations
This guide will make it easy for players to find the two chests at the Thresher Waterwheel, a Cache Location in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
FF7 Rebirth: Phenomenon Intel 4 - Hideout Location
The first step toward completing Phenomenon Intel 4:Taking Care of Business is navigating to the hideout. This is done by heading directly north from the Kalm - Air-Raid Shelter fast travel point. Indeed, there is a rusty gate approximately 45m north of the entrance to the Kalm Air-Raid Shelter, and players should simply use FF7 Rebirth's fast travel, pass through the gate, and follow the path to the relevant hideout.
FF7 Rebirth: Phenomenon Intel 4 - Investigate the Area
Upon reaching the hideout, FF7 Rebirth players should simply crawl under the rollup doors, which are slightly ajar, and approach the "businessmen" who are lying on the ground.
FF7 Rebirth: Phenomenon Intel 4 - Wake Up the Dead Businessmen
Players must now set their sights on waking the businessmen by dropping the large suspended crate on them. To perform this action, fans must interact with a lever that is on a post near the southeast corner of the building's interior. The precise position of that lever can be seen in the images that are above, and a button input will appear on top of the device as players approach it.
FF7 Rebirth: Phenomenon Intel 4 - Defeat the Businessmen
A conversation will now commence, and it will lead to a battle regardless of the dialogue options that the player chooses. While this fight can be a bit tricky, due in no small part to the Modded Sweeper, fans who have reached at least Level 19, and make good use of their skills and summons in FF7 Rebirth, should be able to achieve victory.
FF7 Rebirth: Phenomenon Intel 4 - Pay 2,000 Gil
Once the businessmen and their sweeper have been bested in combat, FF7 Rebirth's Cloud will enter into a negotiation for the protorelic. This negotiation ultimately ends with the businessmen offering to let the item go for 2,000 Gil, and Phenomenon Intel 4:Taking Care of Business will be marked as complete as soon as that exchange is made.
