Woodland Vigil is one of the many side quests in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth that are unlocked during Chapter 12 of the main story. Players will have to complete the interaction with Cid in Costa del Sol to unlock all end-game side quests.

How To Start Woodland Vigil In Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

Before starting this side quest, players will have to finish Escape from Endless Writer’s Block, which is also found in Gongaga village. Upon its completion, the Noticeboard will be updated with a new quest. Head to the board and accept the Woodland Vigil side quest.

All Woodland Vigil Enemy Locations

Talk to Cissnei, and she will explain that she has to look into some suspicious monster activities outside the village. Aerith offers to help her out, so Cissnei advises the group to head to the Observation Tower. If you have explored the Gongaga Region, then there is a good chance that you will have unlocked fast travel to the Observation Tower already. But if you have not done it yet, you can simply check the location on the map below.

After reaching the Observation Tower, climb up the rope to begin surveying the location. Use the binoculars and move them around until you see any suspicious movement.

The first group of enemies is near Activation Intel 5, so players can either fast travel to it or get there on a Chocobo's back. The fight is nothing complex, and it should be done in next to no time. After beating the first enemy, head back to the Observation Tower.

The second fiend is not far from the Observation Tower. They can use the Jungle Chocobo to reach their destination quickly. Once again, beat the enemies and return to the tower.

The third and final enemy is the Gigantoad, and it can be found near Moogle Intel. Place a marker on the map and press on. This particular fiend can be pressured by hitting its tongue. It is also susceptible to ice-type attacks, so use them to dish out additional damage. As soon as the enemy is defeated, Cissnei will appear, and players will get the chance to ask her a question. However, she gives the same answer to all of them.
