How To Upgrade Weapons In Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
In Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, players won't have to manually upgrade the weapons. Instead, the game will automatically upgrade the weapons for them. However, you do need to have a certain amount of SP for a weapon to be enhanced.
SP can be obtained by leveling up your characters. So, whenever you're in the wild, try to beat as many enemies as possible to gain enough EXP to raise the level of your party. Another way to gain EXP quickly is by completing the main and side quests in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. There are more than ten main chapters and over 30 side quests in the game, so there will be plenty of opportunities for players to gain enough EXP to raise the level of the characters.
How Do Weapon Upgrades Work In Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?
Players can view Weapon Upgrades by pausing the game and then selecting the Upgrade Weapons option. Once there, select any weapon that you want to take a deeper look at. For instance, let's take a look at Cloud's Sleek Saber.
On the top right side of the screen, you can see the Acquired Weapon Skills. These vary from weapon to weapon. Below that, you can see the skills that will be unlocked and the stat boosts once the weapon level increases. The weapon's ability can be found just above the weapon itself.
Below the list of weapons, there is a graph that displays the current level of the weapon along with the required SP. A big advantage of this weapon system is that even if you switch weapons, the level remains the same.
Make sure that you are wielding your preferred weapon in fights, as it will increase its proficiency. This will allow you to have the ability equipped even if you are using a different weapon.
