There are five side quests available in Chapter 2 of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, the first of which is called Flowers from the Hill. Players will be able to trigger Flowers from the Hill by speaking with Chloe at Bill's Chocobo Ranch, though only after they've recaptured Piko and completed the Chocobo riding tutorial to unlock fast travel in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: All Grasslands Side Quests (& How to Complete Them)
There are five side quests in Chapter 2 of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, but players won't have access to all of them right away.
After doing the above and speaking with Chloe, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth players will be tasked with gathering some flowers so that Chloe can make a flower crown like the ones that her mother used to make. This means traveling to a specific location in the Grasslands, defeating a large group of enemies, and gathering the correct flowers needed for Chloe's flower crown.
How to Complete the Flowers from the Hill Side Quest in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
To complete the Flowers from the Hill side quest, players will first need to make their way to the Wildflower Plateau, which is to the north of the town of Kalm. Once there, they'll run into a group of Mandragoras and will need to defeat them before they can proceed with the quest. These botanical creatures are weak against Fire and Ice magic, but players should be able to tear through them pretty quickly using Cloud's physical attacks to conserve their party's MP if needed.
Once the Mandragoras have been defeated, players will need to gather the flowers needed to make Chloe's crown. They can examine Chloe's drawing by pressing left on the D-pad followed by the L1 button if needed, but this isn't really necessary. To move on with the quest, players will simply need to pick some white daisies, red gerbera, and yellow calendulas, all of which can be found in the Wildflower Plateau.
With all three types of flowers picked and in hand, players will be free to fast travel back to Chloe at Chocobo Bill's ranch and turn in the quest. On a regular playthrough, completing the Flowers from the Hill side quest will reward players with Telluric Scriptures Vol. 1, 3 pearl ginger roots, and 3 sprigs of majoram. They'll also get 10 party EXP, 300 EXP, and a deepened relationship with Aerith for their troubles.
