Final Fantasy 16 has more than 75 side quests, but not all of them are really worth the player's time. This is because many are quite literally fetch quests, with Clive and his pals acting as couriers for people all over Valisthea. Whether they're fetching planks of wood for a carpenter or handing out bowls of soup to hungry restaurant patrons, there'll likely come a point when players decide that they've had enough of running errands.

This potentially poses a problem of sorts, as it increases the chances of players skipping over a quest that is actually worthwhile and missing out on a new piece of gear or an important piece of lore. Thankfully, the game's developer came up with a way to let players know which Final Fantasy 16 side quests are worth completing, allowing them to focus only on the best FF16 side quests while skipping straight over the rest.

Which Final Fantasy 16 Side Quests Are Worth Completing?

Although all of the game's side quests reward players with something, only the very best side quests in Final Fantasy 16 have unique rewards attached to them. Players can identify these side quests fairly easily, as the icon for them is a little different. Rather than a green speech bubble with an exclamation mark, important side quests will be marked with a green bubble with a white plus symbol inside. If players see one of these quest markers, they should make a point of completing it right away, as they'll usually get something pretty good for doing so.

In addition to the aforementioned white plus quest marker, players should also keep their eyes peeled for the following important Final Fantasy 16 side quests, as they each offer unique rewards upon completion. It's worth noting that most of them come in the second half of the game, so players can rest easy for the first fifteen hours or so. Though some of the earlier quests are missable, all of the Final Fantasy 16 side quests that are worth completing remain playable right up to the final battle.
