To locate this dangerous S-rank enemy, players can fast-travel to The Velkroy Desert Obelisk and head south. Eventually, they will chance upon this beast making itself comfortable in the heat and awaiting its next prey. Hopefully, that won't be Clive and his allies.

How to Beat Gorgimera in Final Fantasy 16

Among all the S-rank enemies, Gorgimera is perhaps the easiest one of them all, but that doesn't mean players can afford to let their guard down. Every hit still hurts, so take note when trying to bring down this mark:

• The strength of Gorgimera lies in its magical attacks, with a wide variety of spells to watch out for. Melee attacks, on the other hand, are easily avoidable and the least of players' worries.
• When the boss uses its flamethrower attack, sidestep and use this opportunity to execute damaging combos.
• Now for the more exciting parts. Should Gorgimera start casting The Dragon's Voice, get closer to the creature using Phoenix Shift to easily avoid the lightning that will strike the surrounding area. It will follow up with The Ram's Voice, which then causes frost spikes to shoot out around its body. Dodge to the back to avoid any damage.
• Watch out for Delta Attack as well, which sees three elemental pillars converge on Clive's current position. Avoid the beams and get out of the radius, and use this opportunity to fire off Charged Magic at Gorgimera.

• Once its health is less than half, Gorgimera uses the upgraded Delta Force, which summons four Delta Attack circles. Forget about attacking, and get Clive out of danger ASAP.

At this point in the game, Clive and his allies will have more than enough in their arsenal to bring down Gorgimera using a plethora of combos and Eikonic Abilities. Just make sure not to get caught by its magic, and things should be smooth sailing.

Defeating Gorgimera brings plenty of rewards, with 15000 XP, 120 Ability Points, 20000 Gil, and 50 Renown coming Clive's way. There is also the valuable piece of Orichalcum for crafting purposes.
